GORILLA GRIP Extra Wide Rug Grippers for Hardwood Floors, 8 Pack — 5x7in Dual-Sided, Low-Profile Non-Slip Pads

GORILLA GRIP® Extra Wide Rug Grippers are peel-and-stick pads that secure rugs to hardwood and smooth floors with a low-profile, dual-sided grip to prevent slipping and edge curl.

If you want a quick, tool-free way to keep area rugs lying flat on hardwood, laminate, or tile, these extra-wide rug grippers offer a straightforward solution. Each pad measures 5 x 7 inches and uses a dual-sided tacky surface that adheres to both the rug backing and the floor without nails or complicated installation. They’re removable, reusable after cleaning, and shaped to minimize visible edges while resisting movement even in busier rooms or homes with pets.

How do these grippers hold rugs in place on hardwood floors?

The pads use a dual-sided adhesive surface engineered to stick to rug backings on one side and smooth flooring on the other. Their extra-wide footprint increases contact area so each gripper covers about 5 square inches of floor, delivering stronger anchoring than many smaller alternatives.

• Dual-sided tackiness grips both rug and floor surfaces.
• Extra-wide 5 x 7 inch design increases contact area.
• Low-profile shape reduces visible lift or tripping edges.

Will these grippers damage my hardwood or leave sticky residue?

These rug grippers are intended for temporary attachment and are removable; when pulled up carefully they won’t require nails or hardware. If they pick up dirt, a simple wipe with a damp cloth restores tack before reuse. Always test a small, inconspicuous area first if your finish is particularly delicate.

• Peel-and-stick application requires no tools or fasteners.
• Reusable after cleaning with a damp cloth and air drying.
• Recommended to test on a hidden spot before broad use.

How do these grippers perform in high-traffic or pet-friendly rooms?

Designed with a low profile and increased surface area, the grippers resist shifting and edge curling that typically occur with foot traffic or pet activity. Their shape helps keep rug corners flat, reducing trips and the need to constantly reposition rugs.

• Low-profile design keeps corners and edges flat against floors.
• Extra width reduces bunching and movement from daily activity.
• Durable construction suited for repeated repositioning and reuse.

How easy is installation and what rug types do these fit?

Installation is tool-free: peel off the liner and press the gripper onto the rug corner or edge, then press the opposite side to the floor. The universal shape accommodates both rectangular rug corners and straight edges, making them suitable for most area rugs, runners, and mats.

• No nails, screws, or tools needed—just peel and stick.
• Compatible with rug corners and straight edges of many styles.
• Sold in an 8-pack so you can secure multiple corners and edges.
