GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Box Mat — 35 x 23 in Gray Coiled Mesh, Deep-Groove Trapping & Non-Slip Backing

GORILLA GRIP Cat Litter Box Mat is a 35 x 23-inch coiled mesh trapping mat that captures loose litter, protects floors from moisture and scratches, and stays put thanks to a textured backing.

This gray litter mat pairs thick mesh coils with deep grooves to catch litter tracked out of the box, so you spend less time sweeping and more time with your cat. Made from water-resistant, soft materials, it’s gentle on paws while durable enough to handle daily use. The mat’s design lets you tip and pour recovered litter back into the box or shake and vacuum the debris away, saving on litter costs and reducing mess.

How does this mat catch stray litter so effectively?

The mat uses a coiled mesh topside with deep channels that trap granules as your cat walks across it. The coils lift and hold litter above the floor, preventing scatter while allowing easy retrieval.

• Thick mesh coils scoop and trap litter from paw pads.
• Deep grooves hold debris until cleaned or poured back into the box.
• Large 35 x 23-inch area covers room around most litter boxes.

Will the mat slip around when my cat exits the box?

GORILLA GRIP built a textured backing to minimize movement, so the mat stays in place through repeated use and active exits. The anti-shift surface reduces the chance of litter being spread when the mat moves.

• Textured underside improves floor contact and stability.
• Suitable for tile, wood, laminate, and low-pile rugs.
• Maintains position even with energetic cats stepping on and off.

How do I clean and maintain the trapping mat?

Cleaning is straightforward: tip to recover litter, shake or vacuum loose debris, and wash with mild soap and water for a deeper clean. Always air dry to preserve the mat’s texture and shape.

• Tip and pour captured litter back into the box to reduce waste.
• Vacuum or shake out daily crumbs and granules.
• For deep cleaning, hand-wash with mild soap; air dry only.

Is this mat comfortable for my cat and environmentally considerate?

The mat strikes a balance between durability and softness, making it gentle on paw pads while holding up to repeated use. It’s Climate Partner certified, meaning its carbon footprint has been measured and steps toward sustainability were taken during production.

• Soft, paw-friendly surface doubles as a cozy rest spot.
• Water-resistant construction helps protect floors from spills.
• Climate Partner certification signals measured environmental consideration.

Who is this for: This mat is ideal for cat owners who want an efficient, low-maintenance solution to litter tracking. It suits households with single or multiple cats, apartment dwellers who need floor protection, and anyone seeking an easy-to-clean mat that reduces litter waste and keeps living spaces tidier.
