GoPets 2-in-1 Deshedding & Dematting Comb for Dogs & Cats — Dual-Sided 12/23-Blade Grooming Tool, Ergonomic Non-Slip Handle

GoPets 2-in-1 Deshedding & Dematting Comb is a dual-sided grooming tool that removes mats and reduces loose undercoat to make coats smoother and cut household shedding.

Keep your pet's coat tangle-free and your home cleaner with a single compact tool. This GoPets grooming brush combines a 12-blade dematting comb and a 23-blade deshedding side so you can detangle knots and lift loose fur without swapping tools. Built from rust-resistant stainless steel with an ergonomic, non-slip handle, it works on short, long, and double coats for routine maintenance and targeted mat removal.

How does this tool remove mats and knots without hurting my pet?

The dematting side uses 12 closely spaced, tapered blades designed to slice through small to moderate tangles rather than yank them out. Blades glide through fur with controlled pressure so sensitive or older animals experience less pulling. Use short strokes and hold the base of a mat to reduce tension while working.

• 12-blade dematting comb for targeted knot removal
• Tapered stainless-steel teeth reduce pulling and snagging
• Use gentle, short strokes and hold mat roots to minimize discomfort
• Safe on both dogs and cats, including longer coats

Will it actually cut down on shedding around the house?

The 23-blade deshedding side pulls loose undercoat and dead hair before it lands on furniture or clothing. Regular use—weekly for heavy shedders, less often for short-haired pets—reduces the amount of free-floating fur and dander in your home. It’s particularly effective on double-coated breeds that shed seasonally.

• 23 deshedding blades lift undercoat and reduce loose fur
• Removes dead hair before it spreads around the house
• Works for seasonal blowouts on double-coated breeds
• Helps reduce rolling fur, lint, and dander on fabrics

How comfortable and durable is the GoPets grooming brush for long sessions?

Designed with an ergonomic, non-slip handle, the tool reduces hand fatigue during extended grooming and improves control on fidgety pets. Stainless-steel blades resist rust and maintain edge retention, so the comb stays effective without frequent replacement. Lightweight construction makes it easy to maneuver around legs, tails, and delicate areas.

• Lightweight, non-slip handle eases grip and reduces fatigue
• Rust-resistant stainless-steel blades for long life
• Balanced design for precise grooming near sensitive areas
• Compact size replaces separate comb and deshedder in your kit

Which coat types and breeds benefit most from this 2-in-1 tool?

This dual-sided tool works across a wide spectrum of coats: short-haired pets benefit from undercoat removal while long-haired and double-coated dogs gain mat control and detangling. It's a practical grooming solution for multi-pet households with mixed coat types. Use it as part of a grooming routine to maintain coat softness and reduce brushing time.

• Effective for long-haired breeds (poodles, doodles, retrievers)
• Works on double-coated breeds (huskies, malamutes)
• Safe for short-haired dogs and indoor cats to reduce loose fur
• Good for senior or anxious pets because it minimizes pulling

Who is this for: Pet owners who want a single, durable tool to manage shedding and tangles—whether you have a long-haired family dog, a seasonal double-coated breed, or indoor cats that leave fur on furniture.
