Glad Slim Trash Can — 12 Gallon Stainless Steel Narrow Kitchen Bin with Clorox Odor Protection, Soft‑Close Lid

This slender garbage can is engineered for apartments, tight kitchen layouts, and busy households that need a discreet, odor‑reducing waste solution. Its fingerprint‑resistant stainless steel finish and built‑in features — including Clorox odor protection, a step pedal, bag ring system and stay‑open option — make daily use cleaner and more convenient without taking up valuable floor space.

How does this slim trash can fit into small kitchens?

The Glad slim profile is designed to tuck into narrow gaps beside cabinets, ovens, or counters where traditional bins won't fit. At 12 gallons (45 liters), it still holds a family-sized volume of waste while maintaining a compact footprint so you can reclaim floor space.

• 12‑gallon/45‑liter capacity for household use
• Rectangular stainless steel body that slides into tight spaces
• Fingerprint‑resistant finish for a cleaner look
• Slim height and narrow depth for placement between appliances

How does the Clorox odor protection work and what benefit does it provide?

Clorox odor protection is integrated into the lid design to help block and trap common kitchen smells, reducing the need for frequent cleaning or deodorizing. It creates a more airtight seal when the lid is closed so odors are less likely to escape into your living area.

• Odor‑blocking formulation built into the lid components
• Tighter seal reduces smell transfer to the room
• Supports a fresher kitchen environment between emptying

What features make it easy to use for everyday tasks?

Everyday convenience comes from hands‑free operation, a quiet soft‑close lid, and a stay‑open option for extended tasks like meal prep or cleaning. The step pedal lets you open the bin without touching the lid, while the soft close prevents loud slams and keeps pets and children calmer around the can.

• Step foot pedal for hands‑free opening
• Soft‑close lid to limit noise and abrupt movement
• Stay‑open mode useful when you need repeated access
• Bag ring system secures liners and prevents fall‑through

How does bag management and durability hold up over time?

The can includes built‑in bag rings that tuck neatly away to keep liners secure and prevent sagging or fall‑through, simplifying liner changes. Constructed from heavy‑duty stainless steel with a protective finish, it resists dents and hides fingerprints so the exterior stays presentable with minimal maintenance.

• Integrated bag rings for tidy, secure liners
• Stainless steel body for lasting durability
• Fingerprint‑resistant coating for low maintenance
