GIOTOHUN Cat Water Fountain Replacement Filters — 12-Pack (6 Carbon + 6 Sponge) for Stainless Steel Models, 2–4 Week Life

GIOTOHUN replacement filters are a 12-piece pack (6 activated carbon + 6 sponge) designed to fit specified GIOTOHUN stainless steel cat water fountains and keep circulating water clearer and better tasting.

Keeping your cat's fountain filter fresh is an easy way to maintain flowing, filtered water that encourages pets to drink. These replacements are sized for GIOTOHUN ATMZIQXR, KOOGMOON, UMOCUOY, IHOUONE and HOOISE stainless steel models and arrive individually sealed so each element stays clean until use. The dual-component design combines mechanical trapping with chemical adsorption to remove visible debris and many dissolved impurities that can affect water clarity and smell.

How do these filters actually clean fountain water?

The filters pair a porous sponge layer with an inner core of activated carbon and ion-exchange resin. The sponge captures fur and sediment first, then the carbon and resin adsorb odors, chlorine remnants and some dissolved contaminants to improve taste and appearance. This two-stage approach helps prolong pump life by preventing larger particles from entering the motor.

• Mechanical capture: sponge removes hair and solids
• Chemical adsorption: activated carbon reduces odors and tastes
• Ion exchange: assists in reducing certain dissolved minerals
• Individually sealed pieces: each filter stays sanitary until use

How often should I change the filters for best results?

Replacement frequency depends on household conditions and how much your cat drinks, but a typical schedule is every 2–4 weeks for fresh performance. Heavy shedding, multi-pet homes, or soft-water differences can shorten that interval, while lighter use may let filters last toward the longer end. Pre-soaking each filter for five minutes before installation removes dust and primes the media for immediate filtration.

• Standard guidance: replace every 2–4 weeks
• Soak filters 5 minutes before first use
• Replace sooner with multiple pets or heavy debris
• Keep spares sealed until needed to maintain cleanliness

Which fountain models are compatible with these replacement filters?

These cartridges are engineered to match several GIOTOHUN stainless steel fountain models, ensuring a snug fit and correct water flow. Compatibility is listed for ATMZIQXR, KOOGMOON, UMOCUOY, IHOUONE and HOOISE variants; check your fountain’s manual or cartridge dimensions if uncertain. Using the correct filter preserves intended circulation and filtration efficiency.

• Designed for GIOTOHUN stainless steel fountain models named above
• Individual seals prevent contamination during storage
• Correct fit maintains pump performance and circulation

What are the practical benefits of keeping fresh filters on hand?

Having a 12-pack (six carbon, six sponge) simplifies maintenance so you can swap cartridges on schedule without running out. Fresh filter media helps keep water clearer and reduces off-odors that may discourage pets from drinking, supporting consistent hydration habits. The pack covers several months of routine changes for most single-pet households.

• 12 filters cover routine changes for months
• Helps maintain clearer, more palatable water
• Individually wrapped for hygienic storage
• Easy, quick replacements help consistent maintenance

Who is this for? Pet owners who use or own a compatible GIOTOHUN stainless steel cat water fountain and want an economical supply of genuine replacement cartridges. It’s especially useful for households that prefer regular maintenance, have multiple pets, or want sealed, ready-to-install filters to keep fountain water looking and smelling better without frequent shopping trips.
