GIOATY Universal Garage Door Keypad compatible with LiftMaster Chamberlain (1993+) — Backlit, 3-Channel, Rolling-Code

GIOATY's Universal Garage Door Opener Keypad provides a secure, keyless way to open and close compatible LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Craftsman and Wayne Dalton garage doors made since 1993.

This wireless keypad replaces remotes and keys with a programmable 4-digit PIN, supports up to three separate opener channels, and uses rolling-code synchronization to reduce radio interference. It ships with a 9V battery, mounting hardware, and a rain cover so you can mount and program a keypad on most garage door systems quickly. The unit fits openers that have purple, yellow, red, orange or green "learn" buttons; it does not support Wi‑Fi–only models or specific incompatible Craftsman and Chamberlain 3.0 listings.

Which garage door openers will this keypad work with?

The keypad is designed for broad backward compatibility with many major brands. It pairs with LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Wayne Dalton and Sears Craftsman openers that use colored learn buttons (purple, yellow, red, orange, green) from 1993 onward. It will not work with units that rely solely on Wi‑Fi communication, Chamberlain 3.0 models, or the listed incompatible Craftsman part numbers.

• Compatible: LiftMaster, Chamberlain, Wayne Dalton, Sears Craftsman (1993–present with colored learn buttons)
• Incompatible: Craftsman models 200.57933, 57943, 57953, Series 100 CR1150, 139.57943, 139.57953
• Not supported: Wi‑Fi–only opener protocols and Chamberlain 3.0 systems
• Replaces: 877MAX, G940EV-P2, 878MAX, 377LM, 977LM, 877LM, 66LM, CMXZDCG440

How easy is installation and day-to-day use?

Installation is wireless and straightforward: mount the keypad, insert the included 9V battery, follow the programming steps to sync with your door opener's learn button, and set your personal PIN. Large backlit keys improve usability in low light and a built-in one‑touch close option simplifies securing the garage after entry.

• Includes 9V battery, screws and wall anchors for immediate setup
• Wireless programming—no wiring to the opener required
• Backlit keypad and rain cover for outdoor durability
• One‑touch close can be set to 15s or 30s per manual

Is the keypad secure and suitable for multiple users?

The device uses rolling‑code technology to change transmission codes after each use, reducing the chance of signal replay attacks and interference. You can program a primary PIN plus temporary codes for guests, maintenance workers, or delivery personnel without revealing your permanent code.

• Rolling-code synchronization to help prevent intercepted code reuse
• Three channels let you control up to three separate door motors
• Temporary PINs for limited-access needs (house sitters, service crews)
• Rigorously tested for reliable frequency matching with supported openers

Who this is for: homeowners, landlords, property managers, and anyone replacing a lost remote or wanting a convenient keyless entry option for older compatible openers. If your garage opener predates modern Wi‑Fi-only systems and has a colored learn button, this keypad is a practical upgrade for easy access and shared temporary entry codes. For fit questions, GIOATY provides responsive support and a satisfaction promise, including replacement options if the unit doesn’t meet expectations.
