Gillette ProGlide Five-Blade Razor Refills, 12-Pack — Lubrastrip & Precision Trimmer

Gillette ProGlide 12 razor blade refills are five-blade cartridges engineered for a close, comfortable shave with an upgraded lubrication strip and precision trimmer.

These 12-count ProGlide refills bring Gillette’s advanced five-blade technology to any compatible five-blade Gillette handle (excluding GilletteLabs). Each cartridge combines ultra-thin, anti-friction blades with a larger Lubrastrip that helps the razor glide smoothly over skin while signaling when performance has declined. The back-facing precision trimmer helps shape sideburns and reach beneath the nose, while blade stabilization keeps spacing consistent so blades follow facial contours.

How do these refills deliver a smoother shave?

The ProGlide cartridges use five closely spaced, ultra-sharp blades with anti-friction coating to reduce tugging. Soft microfins and a guiding microcomb prepare and align hairs ahead of the blades, giving fewer missed hairs and a closer finish.

• Five ultra-thin blades for reduced drag and closer cutting
• Anti-friction coating to minimize irritation
• Microfins and microcomb guide hairs for consistent contact
• Blade stabilization keeps even spacing for a controlled stroke

What features help protect skin and increase comfort?

Comfort comes from the enlarged Lubrastrip and the gentle microfins that smooth skin before cutting. The Lubrastrip also fades to indicate when a cartridge's glide and comfort are diminishing, making it easier to know when to replace a blade.

• Wider Lubrastrip for extended glide and reduced friction
• Microfins softly stretch skin to create a flatter cutting surface
• Anti-friction blades reduce pulls and nicks
• Visual fade of Lubrastrip signals when performance drops

How long does each blade refill last and which handles fit these cartridges?

One ProGlide cartridge is designed to provide up to 20 shaves under normal use, giving a balance of lifespan and cutting performance. These refills click into all Gillette five-blade handles, excluding the GilletteLabs range, making them versatile replacements.

• Up to 20 shaves per refill under typical conditions
• Compatible with Gillette five-blade handles (not for GilletteLabs)
• Easy snap-on installation for quick replacement

What styling or precision options do these blades offer?

The cartridge’s rear-facing precision trimmer is intended for detailed work—ideal for sideburns, under the nose, and shaping facial hair edges. Its narrow edge lets you sculpt lines without switching tools or changing cartridges.

• Precision trimmer on the cartridge back for accurate shaping
• Good control for under-nose and hard-to-reach areas
• Saves time by combining trimming and shaving in one refill

Who is this for: Gillette ProGlide 12 refills suit anyone using a compatible five-blade Gillette handle who wants a closer shave with less friction and clearer trimming control. They’re a practical choice for daily shavers seeking longer-lasting cartridges and for those who value a lubricated glide and targeted precision without changing tools.
