Gillette 5-Blade Razor Blade Refills, 12 Count — 5 Blades with Lubricating Strip & Front Pivot for Comfortable Daily Shaves

Gillette5 12-count replacement cartridges deliver a close, comfortable shave with five blades, a lubricating strip, and a front pivot designed for daily use.

These replacement cartridges are made for Gillette5 razor handles, offering an easy swap when your blade needs renewing. Each cartridge combines five closely aligned blades with a conditioning strip and a front pivot mechanism to reduce pressure on the skin. Built to provide up to one month of reliable shaves per cartridge, this 12-pack keeps you stocked so shave performance stays consistent without frequent repurchasing.

How do Gillette5 cartridges improve comfort compared to older designs?

The Gillette5 cartridges use five blades positioned to reduce tug and pull while delivering a closer cut than three-blade Sensor-style heads. A soft lubrication strip soothes the glide across skin, and microfins gently stretch the surface to create a smoother shave path. Together these elements minimize the sensation of pulling and help reduce the need for multiple passes.

• Five blades for closer contact with less friction
• Lubrication strip supports a smoother glide
• 15 soft microfins prepare the skin for an even shave
• Front pivot shifts pressure away from the blades

How long does each refill last and when should I replace it?

Each Gillette5 cartridge is designed to provide up to about one month of shaves under normal daily use, though results will vary by hair type and shaving habits. Replace cartridges when you notice decreased closeness, tugging, or reduced glide from the lubrication strip. Regular replacement helps maintain a consistent, comfortable shave and reduces irritation from dull blades.

• Typical lifespan: up to 1 month per cartridge
• Replace when you feel tugging or see dull edges
• Replace sooner for coarse hair or daily heavy use
• Keep spare cartridges on hand for uninterrupted performance

Will these refills fit my razor handle and are they easy to change?

Gillette5 cartridges are engineered to click onto all Gillette5 handles for quick and secure changes. The cartridge release and attachment are simple to use, making blade swaps fast whether you’re at home or traveling. No special tools are needed—the design focuses on convenience for routine maintenance.

• Compatible with all Gillette5 razor handles
• Tool-free cartridge click-on/click-off system
• Compact cartridges that store easily in a bathroom drawer
• 12-pack provides multiple replacements for months of shaves

What features help protect sensitive skin during daily shaving?

The front pivot moves applied pressure away from the blades, which helps reduce localized pressure points during stroking. The built-in lubrication strip and soft microfins smooth the skin prior to cutting, which can reduce the need for repeated passes. These design choices aim to keep the shave comfortable for a wide range of skin types without making medical claims.

• Front pivot reduces direct blade pressure
• Lubrication strip improves glide across skin
• Soft microfins create an even shaving surface
• Five blades minimize repeated strokes over the same area

Who is this for: The 12-count Gillette5 cartridge pack is ideal for men who want a stocked supply of replacement blades that balance closeness and comfort. It suits daily shavers seeking fewer blade changes, travelers who prefer spare cartridges, and anyone upgrading from older three-blade systems who wants an easy-fit replacement compatible with Gillette5 handles.
