Ggiibro 600-Piece STEM Straw Constructor Building Kit — Colorful Tubes, Connectors & Wheels with Storage Box

Ggiibro Straw Constructor Toys is a 600-piece STEM building kit of interlocking thin tubes, connectors and wheels designed to teach basic engineering, spatial reasoning and cooperative play for preschoolers and early elementary kids.

This colorful set combines lightweight plastic straws, multi-directional connectors and rolling parts so children can assemble airplanes, cars, castles, robots and abstract structures. The kit ships with a stackable storage box for tidy cleanup and group sharing, and the pieces are sized for small hands. Safety testing (CPSIA, ASTM) and non-toxic materials are used so the set fits classroom and home use.

How does this set build STEM skills during play?

The pieces encourage hands-on problem solving: children experiment with balance, load-bearing and geometry while iterating designs. Manipulating connectors develops fine motor control and following plans builds sequential thinking. Open-ended play also promotes imagination and basic engineering vocabulary.

• 600 color-coded straws and connectors to test shapes and symmetry
• Wheels and multi-axis joints for motion and mechanism practice
• Group-building scenarios to practice communication and planning

What can kids actually build with 600 pieces?

The kit supports a wide range of projects from simple two-dimensional shapes to more complex three-dimensional models. With wheels and directional connectors, children can assemble moving vehicles, while longer spans create towers or bridges. Instructions typically begin with basic models then encourage freestyle building.

• Airplanes, cars and boats using wheels and straighter spans
• Castles, towers and animal shapes from repeated modules
• Custom inventions combining connectors, tubes and rolling parts

How easy is it to use and store in a classroom or at home?

Components are lightweight and snap together without tools, making setup and redesign quick for short attention spans. The included storage box sorts pieces for group play and makes transport simple for outdoor or classroom activities. Durable plastic tolerates repeated assembly and supervised rougher play in preschool settings.

• Snap-fit connectors that assemble by hand—no tools required
• Stackable storage box keeps 600 pieces organized
• Ideal for collaborative stations, maker tables and playdates

Are these parts safe for young children?

Ggiibro construction parts are made from non-toxic materials and the product carries CPSIA and ASTM certifications, indicating compliance with common safety standards. Pieces are sized to reduce choking risk for the recommended age range, but adult supervision is advised for younger children. Inspect pieces regularly for wear in high-use environments.

• Manufactured from tested non-toxic plastics
• Certified to common US safety standards (CPSIA, ASTM)
• Designed for ages 3 and up with caregiver oversight recommended
