Gardner Pet Dog Stairs 16.5 in — 2‑in‑1 Transformable 3-Step & Ramp with Non‑Slip Base and Waterproof Cover

Gardner Pet 2‑in‑1 dog stairs convert from three soft steps into a low‑angle ramp, giving small dogs a safe, cushioned way to reach couches and chairs without jumping.

These pet stairs combine OEKO‑TEX certified fabrics, CertiPUR‑US style high‑density foam, and a removable waterproof cover to create a lightweight, stable solution for small and aging dogs. The stairs arrive ready to use with no assembly needed, and the flexible design fits a range of furniture heights while the non‑slip base keeps the unit steady on different floor types.

How does the 2‑in‑1 transformable design help my dog at home?

The convertible stairs let you choose between stepped access and a gentle ramp depending on your pet’s preference or mobility level. Transitioning is simple and tool‑free, so you can adapt the setup for chairs, sofas, or low beds.

• Three soft tiers for gradual climbing or fold flat into a low ramp
• Two height profiles suitable for furniture from 13 to 20 inches
• Lightweight for easy repositioning around the house

Will the foam and cover stay clean and safe for daily use?

The stairs use a removable cover with a TPU waterproof layer to resist spills and pet accidents, and the fabric meets OEKO‑TEX standards to limit exposure to harmful substances. You can machine wash or hand wash the cover; the foam core should not be laundered.

• Waterproof TPU layer protects the foam interior
• Machine‑washable cover for routine cleaning
• OEKO‑TEX certified materials for safer contact with skin and fur

Is the foam firm enough to support my dog and prevent joint strain?

These steps are built with 35D high‑density foam to balance cushion and support, reducing pressure on paws and joints during climbs. The foam holds shape for daily use while offering a forgiving surface for older or recovering pets.

• 35D high‑density foam for supportive comfort
• Soft, low‑angle ramp option reduces jumping impact
• CertiPUR‑US style construction for durable performance

How stable and safe are the stairs on different floors?

An anti‑slip base with rubber dots helps the stairs grip hardwood, tile, and carpet so your dog can climb without sliding. The unit’s low center of gravity plus the soft surface encourages confident use by small breeds and pets with limited mobility.

• Rubber‑dotted underside increases traction on smooth floors
• Wide footprint minimizes tipping risk when pets climb
• Works for chairs and sofas 13–20 inches high as specified

Who this is for: pet owners of small and medium dogs who want an easy, low‑impact way for their pets to reach sofas, chairs, or low beds. It’s well suited to households that need a washable, non‑slip solution for pets with joint sensitivity, movement hesitation, or those simply too small to jump comfortably onto furniture. The no‑assembly design and lightweight build also suit renters and people who move furniture often.
