FUKUMARU Cat Scratcher 26.8-inch L-Shaped — 1.6-inch Thick Reversible Corrugated Pad

This L-shaped scratcher combines a durable 1.6-inch-thick corrugated core with a space-saving profile so indoor cats can scratch, stretch, and rest in several orientations. The reversible design converts easily between a horizontal lounger, a vertical wall-style scratcher, or a prone hideaway. Made from 100% recyclable heavy-duty cardboard and non-toxic materials, it replaces shredded furniture and provides a comfortable surface cats prefer.

How does the L shape help cats and save space?

The L configuration gives two usable planes for scratching and lounging, letting cats use their claws at different angles and stretch more naturally. Its vertical orientation uses wall area rather than floor, which is useful in apartments or rooms with limited footprint.

• Dimensions: 26.8 x 16.6 x 11.5 inches for a compact footprint.
• Thick 1.6-inch cardboard for longer-lasting scratch resistance.
• Multiple orientations — vertical, horizontal, or prone — fit many room layouts.

Will my cat actually use this instead of furniture?

Many cats prefer the textured resistance of heavy corrugated cardboard for sharpening claws and marking territory. The thick layered construction feels substantial under paw and holds up to regular use, increasing the chances your feline chooses the pad over sofas or curtains.

• Rough surface encourages natural scratching behavior.
• Wide top area offers a stable perch for stretching and resting.
• Non-toxic materials eliminate concerns about harmful residues.

How durable and safe is the material for everyday use?

This scratcher uses high-density corrugated paper rated thicker than many L-shaped competitors, helping it resist tearing and extend service life. Because it’s made from recyclable cardboard without chemical additives, it’s a low-risk option for indoor cats and easy to replace or recycle when worn.

• 1.6-inch thickness for reinforced scratch tolerance.
• 100% recyclable heavy-duty cardboard reduces environmental impact.
• No toxic coatings — safe for cats to bite, knead, and rest on.

How do I set up and care for this scratcher?

Setup is immediate — place it where your cat spends time or mount the vertical side against a wall for extra height advantage. Routine care is simple: remove loose bits of cardboard, rotate orientation to even wear, and replace the pad when shredded beyond use.

• Use horizontal as a bed or vertical as a wall scratcher in seconds.
• Rotate positions periodically to extend lifespan.
• Light vacuuming or hand-picked debris keeps the surface tidy.
