FrogTape Multi-Surface Painter's Tape 2 in x 60 yd, 3-Pack — Green with PaintBlock Technology for Crisp Edges

FrogTape Multi-Surface Painter's Tape 2 in (1.88" x 60 yd, 3 rolls) is a premium painter's tape with PaintBlock Technology that seals edges to prevent paint bleed for crisp, professional lines.

If you’re tackling interior trim, baseboards, glass, or exterior accents, this green FrogTape delivers a versatile masking solution designed for latex paint. Its PaintBlock Technology uses a reactive micro-barrier to stop water-based paint from seeping under the tape, while Quick Stick medium adhesion bonds rapidly so you can paint right after application. The tape removes cleanly from most surfaces for up to 21 days and resists short-term UV exposure, making it practical for both indoor and outdoor tasks.

How does PaintBlock Technology reduce paint bleed?

PaintBlock is a super-absorbent polymer embedded in the tape’s edge that reacts with the water in latex paint, gelling to form a micro-seal. That seal blocks paint migration under the tape so you get sharper edges without extra touch-ups.

• Polymer edge activates on contact with water-based paint
• Forms a gel-like micro-barrier to prevent seepage
• Helps produce straight, professional-looking paint lines

Will this tape work on multiple surfaces in my home?

Yes — FrogTape Multi-Surface is formulated for a range of common painting surfaces, from cured painted walls and trim to glass, metal, and some carpet edges. The medium Quick Stick adhesive balances strong hold with clean removal so it’s useful on many tasks without damaging surfaces when removed correctly.

• Recommended for painted walls, baseboards, trim, glass, metal, and more
• Medium adhesion suitable for delicate to general surfaces
• Designed primarily for use with latex paints; test on unfamiliar surfaces

How long can I leave the tape on, and will it remove cleanly?

FrogTape Multi-Surface removes cleanly for up to 21 days under normal conditions and is UV-resistant for short outdoor exposures up to about 7 days. For the sharpest edge, remove the tape while paint is still wet or follow the label’s recommended removal window.

• Clean removal up to 21 days on most indoor/outdoor surfaces
• UV-resistant for up to 7 days in direct sunlight
• Best results when removed while paint is wet or within recommended timeframes

How quickly can I start painting after applying the tape?

Thanks to the Quick Stick solvent-free adhesive, FrogTape bonds to surfaces much faster than many conventional tapes. That means you can often paint immediately after taping, saving time without sacrificing edge control.

• Quick Stick adhesive bonds rapidly for faster workflow
• Holds strong during painting but formulated for clean removal
• Works well on immediate paint applications—no long wait time
