Purina Friskies Shreds Chicken & Salmon is a wet cat food featuring tender shredded chicken and salmon in savory gravy, formulated to deliver complete and balanced nutrition for kittens and adult cats.

If you want a tempting mealtime option that combines distinct poultry and fish flavors with a moist, gravy-slick texture, this 24-pack of 5.5 oz cans answers that need. The recipe blends real chicken and salmon pieces with a rich gravy to encourage eating, while supplying essential vitamins and minerals to support everyday health. Made in Purina-owned U.S. facilities, the product is packaged in recyclable cans and crafted without artificial colors or preservatives.

What makes the texture of Friskies Shreds appealing to picky cats?

The food features slow-cooked shreds that retain moisture and a pull-apart bite, giving cats a more interesting mouthfeel than smooth pâté. The gravy coats each shred, delivering both aroma and lubrication that many cats find easier to eat and enjoy.

• Tender shredded chicken and salmon pieces for varied texture
• Savory gravy that enhances aroma and moisture
• Chunks stay separate to encourage chewing and licking

How does this formula support everyday nutrition?

Each serving is formulated to be 100 percent complete and balanced for kittens and adult cats, supplying a blend of vitamins and minerals needed for routine maintenance. While not a medical product, it provides foundational nutrients as part of a regular feeding plan.

• Essential vitamins and minerals included for daily needs
• Appropriate for both growing kittens and adult maintenance
• Feeds as part of a balanced diet alongside veterinary guidance

Is this product convenient for multi-cat homes and storage?

The 24-count case of 5.5 oz cans is designed for households that feed wet food regularly or want to stock up to reduce shopping trips. Once opened, individual cans refrigerate well in a covered dish and the recyclable cans make disposal straightforward.

• Bulk 24-pack reduces repeat purchases
• Single-serve 5.5 oz cans for portion control
• Refrigerate leftovers in a sealed container; cans are recyclable

What flavor profile should I expect and how to serve it?

The Chicken & Salmon blend combines a clear poultry note with a mild fish undertone, all carried in a savory gravy. Serve at room temperature to amplify aroma; mixing with a small amount of warm water can loosen gravy for seniors or finicky eaters.

• Poultry-forward taste balanced by salmon oil notes
• Rich gravy increases palatability and moisture intake
• Best served at room temperature to maximize smell and appetite
