Purina Friskies Extra Gravy Pate with Salmon is a smooth, savory canned cat food in extra gravy that delivers salmon flavor and complete adult nutrition in convenient pull-tab cans.

This 24-pack of 5.5‑ounce cans combines a silky pate texture with extra gravy to tempt picky eaters and add moisture to your cat’s bowl. Formulated by Purina under the Friskies label, each can is intended to provide 100% complete and balanced nutrition for adult cats, while the salmon flavor aims to entice cats that prefer fish-forward meals. The product is made in U.S. facilities and comes in easy-open pull-tab cans for quick serving and easy cleanup.

What makes the extra gravy pate different from other wet cat foods?

The extra gravy pate pairs a smooth, fine-textured pate with a generous amount of savory gravy, appealing to cats who enjoy lickable sauces or need encouragement to eat. The gravy adds hydration to the meal and enhances aroma and mouthfeel, which can increase palatability for many felines. Texture and moisture can be especially helpful for cats that are slow eaters or enjoy saucy meals.

• Smooth pate base for easy biting and swallowing
• Extra gravy boosts flavor and moisture per serving
• Salmon flavor provides a strong fish aroma cats often prefer
• Pull-tab cans for fast, fuss-free serving

Is this salmon recipe nutritionally complete for adult cats?

Yes—this Friskies canned formula is created to meet the nutritional profiles established for adult maintenance. It contains essential vitamins and minerals so it can function as a primary diet when fed according to feeding guidelines. The formula is also made without artificial colors or preservatives commonly avoided by many pet owners.

• 100% complete and balanced for adult cats
• Includes essential vitamins and minerals
• No artificial colors or preservatives listed
• Portion control via individual 5.5 oz cans

How should I serve and store these 5.5 oz pull-tab cans?

Serve at room temperature for the best aroma and texture; you can warm slightly by placing the opened can in warm water for a minute—not in a microwave. After opening, refrigerate any unused portion in a sealed container and use within 24–48 hours to preserve freshness. The pull-tab cans make single-portion serving simple and help avoid waste when feeding one or two cats.

• Serve at room temperature for stronger scent and flavor
• Refrigerate leftovers in a covered dish; use within 24–48 hours
• Warm briefly in warm water if desired—do not microwave in can
• Individual 5.5 oz cans minimize unused leftovers

How does this product fit into a multi-cat household or feeding routine?

The 24‑can pack is convenient for multi-cat homes or for owners who prefer stocking up. Use individual cans to tailor portions by cat size, preferences, or special feeding times. Because it’s a wet formula with extra gravy, you may want to monitor total daily moisture and calorie intake based on each cat’s needs.

• Large 24-can pack for value and reduced shopping frequency
• Individual cans help customize portions per cat
• Wet food increases daily moisture intake when added to diet
• Ideal for rotating with other Friskies flavors to prevent palate fatigue
