Forge Compact Vertical Lever Corkscrew Wine Opener — Black, Fast 3-Second Mechanical Uncorking with Foil Cutter

The Forge Compact Vertical Lever Corkscrew is a battery-free, mechanical wine opener that uncorks most bottles in about three seconds with a built-in stainless steel foil cutter.

Designed for home use, entertaining, and gift-giving, this vertical lever corkscrew blends a low-effort ball-bearing mechanism with durable materials so you can open wine quickly without electricity or complex assembly. It balances lightweight ABS components with zinc-alloy parts and a Teflon-coated carbon-steel screw to perform cleanly on both natural and synthetic corks. The package includes a single-piece stainless steel foil cutter and arrives in attractive, gift-ready packaging backed by Texas-based support and a two-year warranty.

How does this opener make uncorking faster and easier?

The opener uses a smooth ball-bearing action to reduce friction and the manual force required to drive the screw into the cork. Its vertical lever motion translates small hand pressure into efficient upward pull, removing corks with minimal strain. Because it’s mechanical, there’s no waiting for batteries or charging—just position, press, and lift.

• Ball-bearing mechanism lowers effort and improves longevity
• Vertical lever converts compact motion into strong pull
• Teflon-coated carbon-steel screw for smooth cork entry and release
• No batteries—always ready to use

Will it work on different types of corks and bottles?

Yes—Forge’s design accommodates both natural and synthetic corks, and the zinc-alloy drive parts provide sturdy engagement for most standard bottle necks. The screw’s Teflon coating reduces friction and helps cut a clean spiral into the cork, while stable seating from the opener’s base keeps the bottle steady during extraction. Very old or damaged corks can still be fragile, so use caution with vintage bottles.

• Compatible with natural and synthetic corks
• Stable base supports straight screw alignment
• Durable zinc alloy components resist wear
• Care advised for fragile, aged corks

What materials and build quality can I expect?

The Forge opener mixes lightweight ABS in non-load-bearing areas with zinc alloy for all major mechanical parts to keep weight down without sacrificing strength. The screw is carbon steel with a Teflon coating to improve penetration and reduce the chance of cork breakage. The separate foil cutter is stamped from a single piece of stainless steel for reliable, long-lasting cutting performance.

• ABS plastic reduces overall bulk while keeping ergonomics
• Zinc-alloy major components for structural durability
• Teflon-coated carbon-steel worm for smooth operation
• Single-piece stainless-steel foil cutter for clean cuts

How easy is it to store, gift, and maintain?

This compact opener is light enough to tuck into a kitchen drawer, bar cart, or picnic basket and arrives in polished, gift-ready packaging. Maintenance is minimal—wipe the body and metal parts clean after use and avoid soaking. Backed by Texas-based customer support and a two-year warranty, it’s meant to be both presentable and practical for everyday use.

• Lightweight, compact design for easy storage
• Gift-ready packaging that’s appropriate for special occasions
• Simple cleaning—wipe clean, do not soak
• Two-year warranty and US-based support
