Flex Seal Spray Rubber Sealant Coating — Black 14 oz 2-Pack, Waterproof Flexible, Paintable Finish

Flex Seal Spray Rubber Sealant Coating is a fast-drying, flexible aerosol sealant that forms a waterproof black rubberized membrane to coat, stop leaks, and protect surfaces.

Designed as a convenient, spray-on version of the popular rubber sealant, this 14 oz two-pack delivers a versatile, weather-resistant coating for indoor and outdoor repairs. The formula penetrates gaps and adheres to many materials, drying to a pliable, paintable finish that resists cracking and peeling through temperature changes. Use it for quick patch jobs, routine maintenance, DIY projects, or creative applications where a durable, watertight barrier is needed.

How does Flex Seal Spray stop leaks quickly?

The aerosol disperses into a fine mist that soaks into cracks and porous surfaces, filling holes and forming a continuous rubber membrane as it cures. Because it sprays into hard-to-reach areas, it’s ideal for sealing seams and irregular shapes where liquid caulk or tapes may not conform.

• Sprays into seams, gaps, and textured surfaces for full coverage
• Dries to a flexible rubber coating that stretches with movement
• Works on wet or dry surfaces to simplify emergency repairs

What materials and projects is this spray best for?

Flex Seal Spray bonds to a wide range of surfaces including metal, wood, concrete, masonry, plastics and more, making it suitable for both repair and protection tasks. It’s commonly used on gutters, roofs, pipes, flashing, outdoor furniture, planters, and hobby projects that need a waterproof or corrosion-resistant layer.

• Metal gutters, flashing, and pipe joints to prevent leaks
• Wood or concrete surfaces to create a protective, water-tight barrier
• Creative and craft applications where a flexible, paintable finish is useful

How does the finish hold up to weather and temperature changes?

The cured coating stays flexible across hot summers and freezing winters, resisting sagging, cracking, and peeling. It creates a long-lasting seal that shields surfaces from moisture and corrosion while remaining workable for repainting if you want a different color.

• Won’t sag or drip in high heat during application
• Remains pliable in cold conditions without cracking
• Paintable once fully dried for color-matching and aesthetics

How should I apply Flex Seal Spray for best results?

Surface prep improves adhesion: clean away loose debris, grease, or heavy rust and allow surfaces to dry if possible. Shake the can well, hold it upright at the recommended distance, and apply multiple light coats rather than one heavy pass to build a uniform membrane.

• Clean and remove loose material; dry surface if practical
• Shake can vigorously and spray in steady, overlapping passes
• Apply several thin coats, allowing dry time between layers

Who this is for: Flex Seal Spray is aimed at homeowners, handypersons, and crafters who want a fast, sprayable solution for sealing and protecting surfaces without specialized tools. It’s useful for emergency patching, seasonal maintenance, and creative projects where a flexible, waterproof, paintable coating simplifies the job. If you need a multi-surface, weather-resistant sealant that’s easy to apply and long-lasting, this two-pack provides extra coverage for multiple repairs or larger projects.
