FKRO Organic Saemidori Ceremonial Matcha is a single-cultivar, first-harvest Japanese stone-ground powder delivered monthly in a 30g tin for traditional whisking or modern recipes.
This matcha comes from Saemidori leaves grown at 600 m in the Tenryu valley of Shizuoka, shaded and hand-tended on a single family farm, then stone-milled to an exceptionally fine texture. It is USDA Organic and JAS certified, air-flown from Japan in small batches so you receive a fresh, vivid green powder with a naturally sweet, bright profile—ideal for daily usucha, lattes, or culinary uses.
Unlike blended or culinary-grade matchas, this product is a single-cultivar (Saemidori) and sourced from a first harvest, which emphasizes sweetness and a rounded umami without harsh bitterness. The stone-milling process yields a superfine powder that integrates smoothly into water or milk.
For a classic usucha (thin tea), whisk 1–2 g of matcha with about 60–80 ml of water at ~80–82°C (175–180°F) until frothy. For lattes, dissolve the same amount in a small amount of hot water before adding warm milk or plant-based milk and frothing.
Expect a bright green color with grassy, vegetal top notes and a pronounced natural sweetness from the early harvest. The mid-palate shows smooth umami and only a mild, pleasant astringency rather than sharp bitterness, making it approachable for daily drinking or creative recipes.
Keep the 30 g tin tightly sealed, stored in a cool, dark place away from heat, light, and strong odors. Once opened, use within 4–8 weeks for peak flavor; refrigeration can extend freshness but avoid moisture exposure.
Who is this for: FKRO Organic Saemidori Ceremonial Matcha suits tea purists and modern cooks alike — from users who value single-origin, first-harvest quality for daily whisked tea to baristas and home chefs seeking a sweet, low-bitterness matcha for lattes, smoothies, and baking. It’s also a fit for shoppers who prioritize organic certification, traceable single-farm sourcing, and small-batch freshness shipped directly from Japan.
