Filtrete 24x24x1 Air Filter MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 2-Pack — Pleated 1-inch HVAC Filters, 90-Day Life

Filtrete 24x24x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 2-pack furnace filters trap a wide range of household particles while letting efficient airflow through for routine HVAC protection.

These pleated 1-inch Filtrete air filters from 3M combine a MPR 1000 performance rating with MERV 11 efficiency to capture both large debris like lint and pollen and many smaller microparticles such as pet dander and smoke. Sold as a two-pack, each filter is intended for a 90-day recommended replacement cycle, making them a practical choice for seasonal maintenance of furnaces, central air conditioners and HVAC systems.

How does this filter improve everyday home air quality?

The Filtrete 3-in-1 media is engineered to pull in and hold particles across a broad size range while permitting continuous airflow for heating and cooling systems. It reduces the number of airborne particles circulating in your living spaces, helping surfaces stay cleaner longer and supporting clearer indoor air.

• Captures pollen, dust, lint and large allergens.
• Reduces microparticles such as smoke, smog and pet dander.
• Pleated design increases surface area for longer usage between changes.

What do MPR 1000 and MERV 11 mean for performance?

MPR (Microparticle Performance Rating) 1000 indicates the filter’s strength at capturing smaller particles in the 0.3–1.0 micron range, while MERV 11 describes general efficiency on a standardized scale. Together they signal above-baseline filtration that balances particle capture with allowed airflow for most residential HVAC systems.

• MPR 1000 targets many fine particulates like smoke and some aerosols.
• MERV 11 offers effective capture of small to medium allergens without excessive airflow restriction.
• Compatible with standard 1-inch filter slots in most homes (confirm size before purchase).

How often should I change these filters and how can I remember?

Each Filtrete 24x24x1 filter is designed for up to a 90-day service interval under typical household conditions, but homes with pets, smokers or high dust may need more frequent changes. The Filtrete Smart App simplifies reminders: scan the packaging barcode, set a 30-, 60- or 90-day countdown, and receive a notification when it’s time to replace the filter.

• Standard recommendation: replace every 90 days.
• Shorten interval for pets, heavy pollen, or smoky environments.
• Use Filtrete Smart App for barcode scanning and automated reminders.

Will these filters fit my furnace or air conditioner?

These filters measure 24 x 24 x 1 inches and are intended for furnaces, central air conditioners and HVAC systems that accept 1-inch filter media. Always confirm the required filter dimensions in your unit’s manual or on the existing filter frame before purchasing to ensure a correct fit.

• Size: 24 x 24 x 1 inches — check your system’s filter slot size.
• Works in many residential furnace and HVAC models with 1-inch filters.
• Sold as a two-pack for staggered replacement or multi-zone systems.

Who is this for: Homeowners and renters seeking a reliable, mid-to-high efficiency 1-inch furnace filter that balances particle capture with system airflow. This Filtrete 2-pack is suited for families with seasonal allergies, pet owners, and anyone wanting a straightforward replacement schedule supported by a smartphone reminder option. If your system requires thicker filters, or if you need hospital-grade filtration, verify compatibility or consider alternative media before buying.
