Filtrete 20x25x1 Pleated Electrostatic Air Filters MPR 300 (6-Pack) — MERV 5, Dust & Pollen Capture

Filtrete 20x25x1 MPR 300 is a six-pack of 1-inch pleated electrostatic air filters designed to capture household dust, lint, and pollen while maintaining HVAC airflow.

If you’re replacing a standard 20x25x1 furnace or AC filter and want a low-effort way to reduce visible dust and protect your system, this Filtrete 300 MPR (MERV 5) pack is an economical option. Each filter uses electrostatically charged fibers to attract particles that ordinary fiberglass or washable filters often miss. The pack contains six filters sized slightly under nominal dimensions (actual 19.69" x 24.69" x 0.81"), so they’re ready for immediate installation in compatible home HVAC units.

How does this Filtrete filter improve everyday air quality?

The electrostatic media pulls in and holds larger airborne particles such as household dust, pet dander clumps, and pollen every time air cycles through your system. It won’t capture the smallest particles like some higher-MERV filters, but it reduces surface dust and keeps ducts and coils cleaner, helping your living spaces feel less dusty.

• Electrostatically charged fibers attract and retain dust and lint.
• 300 MPR / MERV 5 targets common home contaminants effectively.
• Pleated design increases capture area without restricting normal airflow.

Will these filters fit my furnace or air conditioner?

These filters are intended for systems that accept nominal 20x25x1 filters; note the actual dimensions are 19.69" x 24.69" x 0.81". They install the same way as other 1-inch HVAC filters, sliding into the filter slot with airflow direction marked on the frame.

• Actual dimensions provided to match most 20x25x1 housings.
• Designed for standard residential furnaces, central air conditioners, and HVAC systems.
• Replace every 90 days for typical household use; frequency may vary by conditions.

How often should I change these filters and why?

Filtrete recommends replacing the filter at least every 90 days under normal conditions. Homes with pets, smokers, or higher dust loads may need more frequent changes to maintain system efficiency and cleaner indoor surfaces.

• Standard guideline: change every three months for average households.
• Use the Filtrete Smart App to set 30/60/90-day reminders for timely replacement.
• Regular changes help reduce motor strain and preserve HVAC efficiency.

How does this product compare to washable or fiberglass filters?

Compared with flat fiberglass or washable reusable filters, Filtrete’s pleated electrostatic media captures more and smaller particles because the charged fibers act like tiny magnets. Washable filters typically lose efficiency after cleaning, while pleated disposable filters keep consistent capture performance until replaced.

• Pleated construction increases surface area for better particle capture.
• Electrostatic charge targets finer particles that non-electrostatic filters miss.
• Disposable design maintains performance without periodic washing and wear.

Who this is for: Homeowners and renters with standard 20x25x1 filter slots who want an affordable, low-maintenance way to reduce household dust, lint, and pollen buildup. It’s a practical choice for families, pet owners, and anyone looking to keep HVAC components cleaner while preserving normal airflow. Choose this six-pack if you prefer scheduled, quarterly filter changes or need multiple replacements on hand for seasonal rotations.
