Filtrete 20x25x1 MERV 11 Air Filter 2-Pack (MPR 1000) — Pleated 1" Filters for Allergens & Pet Dander, 3-Month Life

The Filtrete 20x25x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) air filter is a pleated 2-pack designed to reduce household allergens, pet dander, smoke and dust while maintaining reliable airflow for 3-month service intervals.

Engineered by 3M under the Filtrete brand, this 20 x 25 x 1-inch filter pair combines pleated media and Filtrete’s 3-in-1 technology to trap a wide range of particles without overly restricting HVAC performance. With an MPR 1000 and MERV 11 rating, the filters capture both larger debris like lint and pollen and many smaller airborne particles common in homes with pets, smokers or urban pollution. The set is intended for routine replacement every 90 days and integrates with the Filtrete Smart App to simplify change reminders.

How effective is this filter at removing household allergens?

These filters are certified asthma and allergy-friendly and target many everyday allergens. They balance capture efficiency and airflow so your HVAC system can run normally while reducing common irritants in living spaces.

• MERV 11 / MPR 1000 rated media catches fine particles, pet dander and some smoke particulates.
• Pleated design increases surface area for longer life within the 90-day recommended period.
• Certified for allergy considerations to help reduce airborne triggers in the home.

Will the Filtrete 20x25x1 slow down my furnace or AC system?

Filtrete designs these filters to provide effective filtration without causing undue restriction when installed correctly. For typical residential HVAC systems the 1-inch pleated configuration preserves proper airflow while filtering more than a basic flat panel screen.

• 1-inch pleat depth optimized for standard return grilles and filter slots.
• Engineered to maintain reliable airflow for heating and cooling equipment.
• Replace at least every 90 days to avoid efficiency loss from loaded media.

How often should I replace these HVAC filters and how can I remember?

Replace Filtrete 20x25x1 filters every 90 days under normal conditions; homes with pets, smokers, or high dust may need more frequent changes. Use the Filtrete Smart App to scan the barcode and set a 30/60/90-day reminder so you get a notification when it’s time to swap the filter.

• Standard replacement interval: 90 days; adjust for heavy use or seasonal changes.
• Smart App barcode scan starts a change countdown and sends reminders.
• Regular replacement helps protect HVAC performance and indoor air quality.

Which systems and spaces are these filters suitable for?

The 20x25x1 Filtrete pair works in most residential furnaces, air handlers and standard HVAC systems that accept a 1-inch pleated filter. They’re ideal for bedrooms, living rooms and whole-house systems where moderate filtration is needed without professional retrofitting.

• Fits standard 1-inch filter slots in furnaces and air conditioners.
• Designed for whole-home filtration in typical residential HVAC setups.
• Two filters per pack let you change filters for two seasons or two locations.

Who is this for? Homeowners and renters who want a balance of improved indoor air quality and system compatibility will benefit from this Filtrete 20x25x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) two-pack. It’s a practical choice for families with pets, allergy sufferers seeking certified-friendly filtration, or anyone wanting a straightforward, app-assisted way to keep their HVAC filters current without sacrificing airflow or system reliability.
