Filtrete 20x25x1 Air Filters 6-Pack — MERV 11 (MPR 1000) Pleated 1" Filters for Allergens & Pet Dander, 3-Month Lifespan

The Filtrete 20x25x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 6-pack is a pleated HVAC filter set built to capture common household allergens and microparticles while maintaining reliable airflow for up to 90 days per filter.

This six-filter bundle from Filtrete (by 3M) is made for homeowners who want a balance of particle removal and system performance without frequent replacements. Each 1-inch pleated filter carries an MPR 1000 and MERV 11 rating, designed to trap a wide range of particles — from visible dust and pet hair to smaller aerosols like smoke and smog — while fitting standard furnaces, air conditioners, and HVAC systems at the specified nominal size.

How does this filter reduce allergens and pet dander in my home?

The Filtrete MPR 1000 pleats are engineered to increase surface area and capture efficiency. Fibers in the media attract and hold particles as air passes through, helping reduce the load of common household allergens.

• Rated MERV 11 and MPR 1000 for improved capture of fine particles
• Pleated design maximizes contact area for better trapping
• Certified asthma and allergy-friendly testing for targeted reduction
• Suitable for regular HVAC use to lower airborne pet dander

Will these filters affect my HVAC airflow or energy use?

Filtrete designs these 1-inch filters to balance filtration and airflow so most residential systems run efficiently without undue strain. Changing filters on schedule helps maintain airflow and can prevent the motor from working harder than necessary.

• 1-inch pleat thickness provides filtration with minimal resistance
• Recommended replacement every 90 days keeps airflow consistent
• Works in furnaces, central AC systems and standard HVAC setups
• Follow system manufacturer guidance if your equipment requires specific filter types

How often should I change these filters and how can I remember?

Replace each Filtrete 20x25x1 filter every 60–90 days depending on household conditions like pets, indoor air quality, and usage. Filtrete’s Smart App simplifies reminders: scan the barcode and set alerts to avoid overdue filters.

• Standard guidance: replace at least every 90 days
• More frequent changes (60 or 30 days) advised for heavy pet or dust environments
• Use Filtrete Smart App to scan barcode and schedule reminders
• Regular replacement preserves filter efficiency and HVAC health

What particles does MPR 1000 and MERV 11 actually capture?

These metrics indicate the filter’s ability to remove a wide band of particle sizes. With MPR 1000 and a MERV 11 rating, the filter effectively captures many small and mid-sized airborne particles while allowing your HVAC system to maintain normal operation.

• Targets microparticles in the 0.3–1.0 micron range compared to baseline MERV 11
• Also traps larger particles like dust, pollen, lint and mold spores
• Helps reduce visible dust accumulation and common indoor irritants
• Not designed as medical or sterile filtration — for residential use

Who is this for: This 6-pack is ideal for homeowners and renters with standard 20x25x1 filter slots who want dependable, mid-to-high level particle removal without the need for more restrictive media. It suits families with pets or seasonal allergy concerns, those who prefer scheduled filter reminders via smartphone, and anyone wanting an established brand’s balance of cleaner air and HVAC compatibility.
