Filtrete 20x20x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) HVAC Air Filters — 2-Pack, 90-Day Pleated Filters for Allergens & Pet Dander

Filtrete 20x20x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) is a two-pack of pleated 1-inch HVAC filters designed to trap a wide range of household particles—microparticles like smoke and pet dander as well as larger dust, pollen and lint—while maintaining reliable airflow for furnaces and air conditioners.

If you want a simple, effective replacement filter that balances particle capture with system performance, these Filtrete filters are engineered for typical 90-day use in home heating and cooling systems. Built with Filtrete's 3-in-1 technology and certified for asthma and allergy-friendly environments, this MPR 1000 / MERV 11 option is intended to reduce airborne contaminants that circulate through HVAC systems without drastically restricting airflow. Each pack contains two pleated filters sized at an actual 19.68 x 19.68 x 0.81 inches to fit standard 20x20x1 filter slots.

How does this filter reduce allergens and pet dander in my home?

The Filtrete MPR 1000 rating indicates stronger capture of fine particles compared with lower-rated filters. Its electrostatic pleated media increases the odds of trapping allergens and pet dander as air moves through the pleats.

• MERV 11 / MPR 1000 rating for enhanced capture of microparticles (0.3–1.0 microns).
• Electrostatic pleated media pulls in and retains particles like pet dander and smoke.
• Pleated design increases surface area for longer effective life up to 90 days under normal household conditions.

Will these filters affect my HVAC airflow or energy use?

Filtrete designs these 1-inch pleated filters to balance filtration with airflow so typical residential systems maintain reliable circulation. Replacing filters at the manufacturer-recommended interval helps the system run efficiently and avoids strain from overloaded filters.

• 1-inch pleat depth is compatible with most 20x20x1 slots, keeping airflow within common operating specifications.
• Replace every 90 days (or sooner if visibly dirty) to prevent reduced airflow or increased energy usage.
• Use Filtrete Smart App reminders to maintain timely changes and consistent performance.

How do I know when to change the filter and can I get reminders?

Filtrete recommends changing this filter at least every 90 days under typical conditions. For environments with heavy pet hair, smoking, or high dust levels, check and change filters more frequently.

• Standard replacement interval: 90 days for normal household use.
• High-load situations (pets, smoke, remodels): check monthly and replace as needed.
• Set up a replacement countdown by scanning the barcode with the Filtrete Smart App for 30-, 60- or 90-day reminders.

What sizes and systems are these filters compatible with?

Each filter measures an actual 19.68 x 19.68 x 0.81 inches and fits standard 20x20x1 filter slots found in most furnaces, air handlers and window or wall-mounted HVAC units. They are intended for residential use in heating and cooling systems requiring disposable 1-inch filters.

• Actual dimensions: 19.68 x 19.68 x 0.81 in (fits 20x20x1 slots).
• Compatible with most home furnaces, air conditioners and HVAC return grilles that accept 1-inch filters.
• Sold as a 2-pack for convenient replacement cycles covering multiple filter changes.

Who this is for: Homeowners and renters looking for an off-the-shelf, high-capture 1-inch air filter that reduces common household particles—especially those with pets, seasonal allergies, or concerns about smoke and dust—will find the Filtrete 20x20x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 2-pack a practical option. It suits anyone who wants a balance of particle removal and system compatibility, plus smartphone reminders for routine maintenance.
