Filtrete 16x25x1 Air Filters 6-Pack — MERV 11 (MPR 1000), Pleated 1-Inch for HVAC Allergen & Pet Dander Capture

Filtrete 16x25x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 6-pack is a pleated 1-inch HVAC filter set designed to trap household allergens, pet dander and many fine particles while maintaining airflow for your furnace and air conditioner.

These Filtrete filters, made by 3M, combine pleated media with Filtrete's 3-in-1 technology to balance particle capture and airflow for standard home heating and cooling systems. Each filter in this six-pack carries a MPR 1000 rating and a MERV 11 classification, which helps collect a range of particle sizes, from larger dust and pollen to smaller microparticles like smoke and some smog components. They are intended for routine replacement every 90 days, and the Filtrete Smart App can simplify reminder scheduling via barcode scan.

How do these filters balance air cleaning with system airflow?

The Filtrete design uses pleated media that increases surface area to capture particles without overly restricting airflow. This balance helps your furnace or air conditioner run efficiently while removing a broad range of particle sizes from the circulated air.

• Pleated 1-inch media increases filter surface for higher particle-holding capacity.
• MPR 1000 and MERV 11 ratings target both large particles and many microparticles.
• Engineered to work with typical home HVAC systems without major airflow loss.

What types of particles will Filtrete MPR 1000 capture?

These filters are designed to trap common household particulates across several size ranges. They perform well on lint, dust, pollen and pet dander, and they also capture many smaller particles down to the microparticle range described by the MPR rating.

• Large particles: dust, lint and visible debris.
• Medium particles: pollen and mold spores.
• Microparticles: smoke, some smog components, and smaller airborne allergens.

How often should I replace my Filtrete 16x25x1 filters?

For typical residential use, Filtrete recommends replacing a 1-inch pleated filter at least every 90 days. Homes with pets, higher occupant counts, or elevated outdoor pollution may benefit from more frequent changes to maintain capture efficiency and airflow.

• Standard recommendation: change every 90 days for average households.
• High dust/pet homes: consider replacing every 30–60 days.
• Use the Filtrete Smart App to set 30-, 60- or 90-day reminders via barcode scan.

Will these filters fit my HVAC or furnace system?

The 16x25x1 size is a common HVAC and furnace filter dimension; confirm your system’s filter slot before purchase. The filters are intended for typical residential furnaces, air conditioners and HVAC systems that accept a 1-inch pleated filter.

• Confirm your unit’s required filter size: 16 x 25 x 1 inches.
• Designed for standard return vents, furnaces and central air handlers.
• Six filters in the pack provide up to 18 months of typical service with 90-day changes.
