Filtrete 14x25x1 Air Filters MERV 11 (MPR 1000) — 4-Pack, 3-Month Pleated Electrostatic for Allergens & Pet Dander

Filtrete 14x25x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) is a pleated electrostatic HVAC filter pack designed to capture common household particles like dust, pollen, pet dander and smoke while maintaining reliable airflow for three months per filter.

These Filtrete 3M filters use electrostatically charged fibers and pleated media to attract and trap both large and microscopic particles as air passes through your furnace or air conditioner. Each box contains four 1-inch filters sized at 13.68 x 24.68 x 0.81 inches (actual), rated MPR 1000 and MERV 11, recommended for routine replacement every 90 days. They are intended to help keep HVAC components cleaner and preserve system efficiency while improving the indoor air quality you breathe.

How does this filter capture tiny particles?

Filtrete filters combine pleated filter media with electrostatic charge so fibers act like tiny magnets for airborne contaminants. This dual action increases the chances that particles — from visible lint to submicron smoke — will stick to the filter instead of recirculating through your home.

• Electrostatically charged fibers attract both positively and negatively charged particles.
• Pleated design expands surface area for more particle-holding capacity.
• MPR 1000 / MERV 11 rating targets microparticles while allowing steady airflow.

Will this filter affect my heating and cooling performance?

These 1-inch pleated filters are sized to balance filtration and airflow for most residential HVAC systems. When installed correctly and changed on schedule, they help keep coils and blower components cleaner, which supports efficient system operation without significant restriction.

• Designed for 3-month use to minimize pressure drop over typical lifetimes.
• Helps reduce dust buildup on HVAC components, lowering maintenance needs.
• Fits standard 14x25x1 slots (actual 13.68 x 24.68 x 0.81 in) for easy replacement.

What kinds of particles can it remove from home air?

With an MPR 1000 rating, the filter captures a wide range of particles: common allergens, pet dander, pollen and many microparticles such as some smoke and smog components. It is certified asthma and allergy-friendly for homes looking to reduce airborne irritants.

• Captures household dust, lint, and pollen.
• Reduces pet dander, dust-mite debris, and mold spores.
• Helps remove some smoke, smog, and other fine microparticles.

How often should I replace these filters and how can I remember?

Filtrete recommends replacing each filter every three months for typical household conditions; heavier pollutant loads may require more frequent changes. The Filtrete Smart App can scan the barcode and set replacement reminders so you won’t forget the next change date.

• Standard recommendation: replace every 90 days for normal use.
• Change sooner if you have pets, smokers, or high pollen seasons.
• Use Filtrete Smart App to create 30/60/90-day reminders via barcode scan.

Who is this product for? Homeowners and renters seeking an easy, cost-effective way to reduce common indoor airborne particles while keeping HVAC systems running smoothly will find these Filtrete MPR 1000 filters useful. They suit households with pets, seasonal allergies, or routine dust issues and fit standard one-inch filter slots in furnaces, air conditioners, and HVAC systems. If you need higher filtration for specialized environments (medical-grade or industrial), consider filters with higher MERV ratings; for general home use, these offer a balanced approach to cleaner air and dependable airflow.
