Filtrete 14x20x1 Air Filter MERV 11 (MPR 1000) 2-Pack — Allergens & Pet Dander Protection, 90-Day Pleated HVAC Filters

Filtrete 14x20x1 MERV 11 (MPR 1000) air filters are a 2-pack of pleated 1" filters designed to reduce household allergens and microparticles while maintaining reliable airflow for up to 90 days.

This two-filter pack from Filtrete (by 3M) combines a MPR 1000 rating with MERV 11 performance to capture a wide range of particles — from visible dust, pollen and pet dander to many submicron particles like smoke and smog — without significantly restricting your HVAC system’s airflow. Each filter is pleated and sized to fit standard 14 x 20 x 1 slots (actual size 13.68 x 19.68 x 0.81 in). The filters are intended for routine replacement on a 30–90 day cadence depending on home conditions and recommended use in furnaces, air conditioners and HVAC systems.

How does the Filtrete MPR 1000 filter improve indoor air quality?

Filtrete’s proprietary 3-in-1 media is engineered to attract and retain particles across a spectrum of sizes. It captures large debris like lint and pollen as well as many smaller airborne particles, helping reduce what settles on surfaces and circulates through living spaces.

• Rated MPR 1000 and MERV 11 for broad particle capture
• Pleated design increases surface area for longer service life
• Certified asthma & allergy-friendly capture of common household allergens
• Works in furnaces, central air conditioners and most HVAC systems

How often should I replace these 14x20x1 furnace filters?

For most homes, Filtrete recommends replacing the 1" pleated filter at least every 90 days to maintain filtration performance and steady airflow. Homes with pets, smokers, heavy pollen seasons, or residents with allergies may need to replace filters more frequently—every 30–60 days.

• Standard recommendation: replace every 90 days
• High particle load homes: check and replace every 30–60 days
• Use the Filtrete Smart App to scan the barcode and set replacement reminders
• Visible dirt or reduced airflow are signs to change sooner

Will a MERV 11 / MPR 1000 filter affect my HVAC airflow or efficiency?

Filtrete 14x20x1 filters are designed to balance particle capture with airflow compatibility for most residential systems. When installed correctly and replaced on schedule, these filters provide enhanced filtration without causing undue strain on properly maintained HVAC equipment.

• Pleated structure delivers filtration with controlled resistance
• Replace regularly to avoid buildup that restricts airflow
• Check manufacturer guidelines for systems with special airflow requirements
• Two filters in the pack simplify scheduled replacements

How do I get reminders to change the filter?

The Filtrete Smart App (iOS and Android) lets you scan the pack barcode and set a replacement countdown. Choose a 30-, 60- or 90-day reminder and receive a notification when it’s time to swap the filter.

• Scan barcode with the Filtrete Smart App
• Choose custom replacement intervals (30/60/90 days)
• Receive push notifications when the filter life ends
• Simplifies upkeep across multiple filters and homes

Who is this for: homeowners and renters who want a practical, effective upgrade from basic fiberglass filters — especially those with pets, seasonal allergies or moderate urban pollution. This Filtrete 2-pack is suited for anyone seeking improved capture of dust, pet dander, pollen and many smaller airborne particles while keeping maintenance simple with app reminders and a recommended 3-month replacement schedule.
