Filtrete 14x14x1 MPR 300 (MERV 5) Air Filter 6-Pack — 3-Month Pleated Electrostatic for Home HVAC

Filtrete 14x14x1 MPR 300 air filters are pleated, electrostatic 1-inch HVAC filters sold in a 6-pack that help capture lint and household dust with a MERV 5 (MPR 300) rating for 3-month use.

This six-pack of Filtrete filters (actual size 13.81" x 13.81" x 0.81") gives you replacement filters for multiple vents or backstock for on-schedule changes. Built with Filtrete 3-in-1 electrostatic pleat technology, these MPR 300/MERV 5 filters balance airflow and particle capture for everyday residential environments, making them a practical choice for standard furnaces, air conditioners and HVAC return grilles.

How do these filters fit my HVAC system?

Although commonly called 14x14x1, each Filtrete filter’s exact measurement is 13.81" x 13.81" x 0.81", designed to slide into housings that accept nominal 14x14x1 filters. They work with most residential furnaces, air handlers and window/through-the-wall units that list 14x14x1 compatibility.

• Actual dimensions: 13.81 x 13.81 x 0.81 inches for accurate fit checks.
• Compatible with standard return grille and slot-style housings.
• Works in both furnace and A/C systems requiring a 1-inch filter thickness.

What kinds of particles will the MPR 300 (MERV 5) filter capture?

Filtrete’s MPR 300 rating targets everyday particles like lint, household dust and larger airborne debris. The pleated electrostatic design increases the surface area to trap these common particles while keeping airflow suitable for typical home systems.

• Efficient at catching lint, carpet fibers and visible dust.
• Helps reduce dust mite debris and larger airborne particles.
• Not designed for fine smoke or ultrafine particles—higher-rated filters are available for that purpose.

How often should I replace these 3-month pleated filters?

Filtrete recommends replacing this 3-month pleated filter at least every 90 days under normal conditions. Homes with pets, high dust loads, or allergy concerns may need changes more frequently to maintain optimal airflow and filter performance.

• Standard recommendation: change every 90 days for typical households.
• Consider 30–60 day intervals if you have pets or heavy dust.
• Use the Filtrete Smart App to set 30-, 60- or 90-day replacement reminders.

Why buy a 6-pack instead of single filters?

Purchasing a six-pack gives you spares for scheduled swaps and reduces trips to the store. Keeping multiple filters on hand ensures you can replace filters promptly to help maintain HVAC efficiency and steady airflow.

• Six filters provide two years of coverage at quarterly changes for one location.
• Store extras for multiple vents or different systems in the home.
• Bulk purchase often saves time and ensures continuity of maintenance.

Who is this for: The Filtrete 14x14x1 MPR 300 six-pack suits homeowners and renters with standard HVAC systems who want reliable everyday dust control and simple maintenance. It’s a practical option for those seeking an affordable, easy-to-install filter that balances particle capture with unrestricted airflow—ideal for typical residences without specialized air-quality needs.
