FHKPET Instinct Basket Handwoven Cotton-Rope Cat Bed Large — High Walls, Removable Cushion

FHKPET Instinct Basket is a handwoven cotton-rope cat bed that doubles as a cozy nest and natural scratching post for indoor cats up to 22 lbs.

This large, stimuli-focused basket is crafted from 100% natural cotton rope and built to encourage cats' nesting and scratching instincts while providing a secure, comfortable resting place year-round. Its high walls and tactile woven texture offer an enclosed retreat that reduces anxiety, while the removable cushion gives seasonal versatility. Lightweight and machine-washable, the design balances durability with easy care and everyday practicality.

How does the basket satisfy my cat’s natural instincts?

The woven cotton rope mimics textures cats seek when nesting or kneading, and the high, rounded walls recreate the sheltered feeling cats prefer for rest. Built-in rough surfaces invite scratching behavior so your cat can file claws naturally without damaging furniture. A dangling cotton teaser ball adds a simple enrichment element to encourage gentle play between naps.

• Durable four-strand rope construction that holds shape under use
• Woven texture that encourages kneading and nesting
• Integrated cotton teaser ball for short play sessions
• High walls that create a secure, private sleeping area

Can it be used all year and for different temperatures?

Yes — the FHKPET Instinct Basket adapts to seasonal needs. A removable high-density cotton cushion provides insulating warmth during colder months, while removing the cushion exposes a breathable rope base for cooler comfort in warm weather. The open-weave cotton allows airflow and prevents moisture build-up while still keeping your cat off hard floors.

• Removable, high-density cushion for winter comfort
• Airy cotton-rope base for summer ventilation
• Keeps cats elevated from cold or hard surfaces

How easy is it to clean and maintain?

Both the basket and its cushion are machine-washable, making upkeep straightforward for busy pet owners. The natural cotton construction tolerates regular laundering; reshape the basket after washing to restore its handcrafted form. Lightweight handles make it simple to move between rooms or fold into storage when not in use.

• Machine-washable basket and removable cushion
• Quick-dry materials and easy reshaping after wash
• Lightweight design with handles for portability

What size and durability can I expect for larger indoor cats?

This large model is designed to support indoor cats up to 22 lbs while retaining its shape through everyday use. The four-strand rope weave reinforces the basket’s walls and base to resist flattening from repeated kneading. Still, because it’s handcrafted from natural cotton, occasional reshaping will prolong its appearance and comfort.

• Suitable for cats up to 22 lbs
• Four-strand rope build for long-lasting shape retention
• Handcrafted construction — reshape as needed after wear or washing
