Feit Electric BR30 LED Bulbs 6-Pack, 16W (100W Eq) Daylight 5000K — Dimmable, 1400 lm

These six Feit Electric BR30 LED lamps are designed for recessed cans and track fixtures where a powerful, energizing daylight is desired. Each bulb produces approximately 1400 lumens from only 16 watts, fits standard BR30 sockets, and is rated for roughly 11,000 hours of use. RoHS compliant and mercury-free, the bulbs offer long life and practical energy savings without sacrificing brightness.

How bright are these bulbs and what color temperature will I see?

The BR30 bulbs deliver a high output of about 1400 lumens per bulb, matching the light level of a 100W incandescent while consuming only 16W. The 5000K daylight color gives a crisp, neutral-white tone that emphasizes clarity and contrast—useful for task areas and open living spaces.

• Brightness: ~1400 lumens per bulb
• Power use: 16 watts (100W incandescent equivalent)
• Color temperature: 5000K daylight for clear, high-contrast lighting

Are these Feit Electric BR30 bulbs dimmable and compatible with standard dimmers?

Yes, these BR30 LEDs are dimmable and designed to work with many common household dimmer switches. Performance can vary depending on the dimmer model—pairing with modern electronic dimmers typically delivers smoother, wider-range dimming.

• Fully dimmable across a broad range of intensity
• Best results with compatible LED-rated dimmer switches
• May require retrofitting older incandescent dimmers for optimal performance

How long will the bulbs last and what environmental features do they have?

Each bulb is rated for an average life of about 11,000 hours, which translates to many years of typical household use before replacement. The construction is RoHS compliant and 100% mercury-free, making these bulbs a safer choice for disposal and handling compared with mercury-containing alternatives.

• Estimated lifespan: ~11,000 hours (about 10 years with average use)
• RoHS compliant and mercury-free for safer disposal
• Durable LED design reduces maintenance and replacement frequency

Where are these BR30 bulbs best used and are they suitable for damp locations?

The BR30 form factor is ideal for recessed can lights, track lighting, and enclosed fixtures where directional, high-output lighting is needed. These bulbs are rated for damp locations, so they can be used in covered outdoor fixtures and bathrooms, but avoid direct exposure to water.

• Ideal for recessed cans, track fixtures, and general ceiling lighting
• Rated for damp locations—suitable for covered outdoor areas
• Not intended for continuous direct water exposure or fully enclosed wet environments
