Fat Cat by GLD Products 500‑Chip Texas Hold'em Poker Set — Aluminum Case, 11.5g Casino‑Weight Claytec Chips

The Fat Cat 500Ct Texas Hold'em Poker Chip Set is a complete, casino-weight Claytec chip collection packaged in a durable aluminum case for home tournaments and travel play.

Bring authentic-feeling poker to your game nights with a set designed to balance weight, durability, and organization. These 11.5-gram Claytec composite chips replicate the heft of casino pieces while resisting the cracking and flimsiness common to cheaper materials. The 500-chip capacity and thoughtfully arranged components make this set ready for spontaneous games, club nights, or a weekend of tournament play.

How does the chip material affect play and longevity?

Material matters for both the tactile feel and the lifespan of chips. Fat Cat chips use a proprietary Claytec composite that offers a balanced weight and a solid click when stacked, but with better impact resistance than pure clay. That means chips maintain their look and feel through many sessions without the brittleness of traditional clay.

• 11.5-gram casino-weight feel for realistic handling
• Claytec composite resists cracking and chipping
• Striped five-color design simplifies denominations
• Consistent size and edge detail for reliable shuffling and stacking

What exactly comes in the set and how is it organized?

The set contains 500 chips divided across five colors, two decks of playing cards, and a full collection of Texas Hold'em buttons to run a proper game. Everything is arranged in a foam-cushioned aluminum case with dedicated trays so chips and accessories stay protected and ready to use. The layout makes setup quick and keeps pieces sorted between sessions.

• 500 chips: 150 white, 150 red, 100 blue, 50 green, 50 black
• Dealer, big blind, and small blind buttons included
• Two standard playing-card decks for immediate play
• Aluminum case with foam interior and divided trays for protection

Is this set suitable for tournaments or casual home play?

Yes — the chip count and construction support both casual gatherings and more structured tournament formats for 6–10 players. The weighted chips and clear color-coding help with fast counting and smooth betting rounds, while the included buttons enable correct blind rotation. For organizers, the durable case also makes transporting and storing multiple sessions easier.

• 500 chips accommodate 6–10 players comfortably
• Color-coded chips speed up pot calculations and betting
• Buttons enforce blind structure for tournament-style play
• Portable aluminum case simplifies travel to friend’s homes or events
