FACHNUO TOOL 2FT Portable Wheelchair Ramp — Folding Aluminum, 800 lb Capacity, Non-Skid Surface

FACHNUO 2FT Portable Wheelchair Ramp is a lightweight, folding aluminum threshold ramp that provides a stable, non-slip transition for wheelchairs, scooters, and walkers over low steps and doorways.

This compact ramp folds to a convenient carry size while supporting heavy loads up to 800 pounds. Designed for quick setup at home or on the go, it combines a textured surface, reflective strips, and guide rails to improve safety in dim light and on narrow thresholds. It’s crafted from corrosion-resistant aluminum with a stainless hinge for durable indoor and outdoor use. Before use, confirm your step height and wheelbase comply with the ramp’s recommendations to ensure safe operation.

How do I know this ramp fits my doorway or step height?

Measure the height of the step or threshold you want to bridge and compare it to the ramp’s unfolded dimensions. The FACHNUO 2FT ramp is best for steps roughly 2–6 inches high, with a manufacturer recommendation to keep wheelchair step height at or below 4 inches for safe access.

• Unfolded size: 24" x 29.2" x 2" (length x depth x height)
• Folded size: 24" x 13.2" x 3.2"; weight 10.9 lb
• Maximum load capacity: 800 lb
• Recommended wheelchair wheelbase: not to exceed 27 inches

What safety features help prevent slips and falls?

The ramp’s surface is textured aluminum for traction and includes baffles to reduce slipping when wet or when users are pushing a wheelchair. Reflective strips increase visibility at night and extended guide rails on both ends keep wheels aligned and prevent accidental run-offs.

• Non-slip textured surface for steady traction
• Baffles across the ramp to slow rolling and add grip
• Reflective strips for improved low-light visibility
• Raised guide rails to keep wheels centered

Is the ramp easy to carry and store?

Yes—this ramp folds in half and includes an integrated handle so one person can transport it quickly between locations. Its compact folded footprint makes it simple to store in a car trunk or a closet when not in use, making it suitable for temporary access solutions.

• Folds to 24" x 13.2" x 3.2" for compact storage
• Built-in carrying handle for portability
• Lightweight at 10.9 pounds yet rated for 800 lb load

Are there any installation or usage cautions I should know?

For safest performance, position the ramp so the front extension plate is fully flush with the ground and avoid placing it where the ramp’s vertical side walls could interfere with door operation. If using near sliding doors, ensure the extension plate won’t obstruct the track. Small compression (sinking) may occur under load but the ramp is designed to rebound quickly.

• Ensure extension plate is flush with ground before use
• Avoid use if wheelchair wheelbase exceeds 27 inches
• Check clearance for sliding doors to prevent obstruction
• Expect minor temporary compression under heavy load

Who is this for: The FACHNUO 2FT Portable Wheelchair Ramp suits caregivers, homeowners, and mobility device users needing an affordable temporary or travel ramp for low steps and thresholds. It’s best for electric wheelchairs, scooters, and manual chairs with compatible wheelbase dimensions, as well as walkers and rollators needing a short, sturdy transition. If you require a permanent or long incline solution for taller steps, consider longer, custom ramps; for quick, reliable portability around home and vehicle use, this ramp is a practical choice.
