ExoForma Black Trim Restorer — 4oz Dye-Infused Waterproof Plastic & Vinyl Recolor, Lasts 6+ Months

ExoForma Black Trim Restorer is a dye-infused, waterproof 4oz kit that revives sun-faded plastic and vinyl to a deep, long-lasting black finish that endures for six months or more.

Many vehicles lose their factory-dark trim color from UV exposure, road chemicals, and everyday wear; ExoForma’s concentrated formula recolors and seals plastic, vinyl and rubber surfaces to restore visual depth without greasy residue. The kit is designed for straightforward DIY use yet offers professional-caliber results on bumpers, mirror housings, interior trim pieces, and off-road gear. It blends a penetrating dye with conditioning agents to both recolor and protect the substrate against water, salt, and routine car washes.

How quickly does the restorer change faded trim?

Most visible improvement appears immediately after application as the dye soaks into the plastic and the finish evens out. Full curing and maximum durability develop within 24–48 hours depending on temperature and humidity.

• One-coat coverage for many light-to-moderate fades.
• Recolors surface and conceals minor scratches and scuffs.
• Dry-to-touch in under an hour in warm conditions.

What surfaces and parts can I use it on?

ExoForma works on a wide range of automotive plastics and vinyls—exterior and interior—making it useful for trucks, SUVs, Jeeps, ATVs and recreational equipment. It’s formulated to adhere to bumpers, trim inserts, door handles, mirror housings, bed liners and vinyl seats or accessories.

• Exterior trim, bumper covers and fender flares.
• Mirror casings, door handles and window surrounds.
• Interior vinyl, dash trim, and textured plastic panels.

How long does the restored look last and how do I maintain it?

The waterproof, dye-based finish is engineered to persist for six months or longer under normal use, resisting fading from sun and water exposure. To prolong life, avoid aggressive solvents and follow routine cleaning with mild soap; periodic reapplication refreshes color as needed.

• Weather-resistant barrier holds through rain, snow, and car washes.
• Reapply as a maintenance step every 6–12 months in harsh climates.
• Hand-clean with gentle detergents to preserve finish.

Is application difficult for non-professionals?

The 4oz kit is formulated for simple, one-coat application and includes everything needed for a quick restoration. Users should clean surfaces first, apply evenly, and allow adequate curing time for best results.

• Works well with cloth applicators, foam pads, or small brushes.
• No special equipment required—suitable for DIY projects.
• Instructions recommend testing on a small area before full coverage.
