Evenflo Balance+ Wide Neck Baby Bottles 5 oz Pack of 6 — Proflo Venting, Sloped Nipple for Natural Latch

Evenflo Balance + Wide Neck bottles are 5-ounce, wide-neck feeding bottles with a sloped nipple and patented Proflo venting designed to support comfortable latching and gentler feeding.

These 5-ounce bottles were created to make bottle-feeding feel more natural for babies and easier for caregivers. The tilted nipple profile and broad base encourage a stable latch similar to breastfeeding, while Evenflo's single-piece Proflo venting system moves air away from the nipple area so fewer bubbles reach the baby during feeding. Molded measurement marks and a simple three-piece design help simplify cleaning, measuring, and everyday use. The bottles are also free from BPA, polycarbonates, PVC, and phthalates.

How does the nipple shape help with latching?

The nipple is intentionally sloped and wider at the base so a baby's lips can grasp a broader surface without slipping down to the tip. That shape supports a more natural mouth position and reduces the need for babies to overwork their lips to maintain a latch.

• Naturally sloped nipple replicates a broader contact area.
• Wide base encourages a stable, comfortable latch.
• Designed to work alongside breastfeeding efforts without disrupting technique.

What does Proflo venting do during a feeding?

Evenflo’s patented Proflo venting keeps air moving away from the nipple so fewer milk bubbles reach the baby’s mouth. This single-piece venting system aims to minimize swallowed air and the fussiness that can follow, while remaining simple to assemble and clean.

• 1-piece vent design prevents excess bubbles at the nipple.
• Helps maintain a smoother milk flow for consistent sipping.
• Fewer parts make assembly and washing quicker.

Are these bottles easy to clean and measure?

Yes — the Balance + bottles have only three parts, which keeps cleaning straightforward and reduces the chance of losing pieces. Molded measurement markings remain visible over time so you can pour and track volumes accurately without the markings fading.

• Three-piece construction for fast disassembly and reassembly.
• Dishwasher-safe on the top rack for convenience.
• Durable molded measurement marks for precise feeding amounts.

Can I pump directly into these bottles?

Evenflo offers wide-neck pump adapters (sold separately) that fit many standard breast pumps so you can pump straight into the bottle. Pumping directly into the bottle saves time and reduces transfers between containers.

• Works with most standard wide-neck pump adapters (adapter sold separately).
• Eliminates extra bottle transfers for quicker feeding prep.
• Compatible with the same measured markings for accurate storage.

Who is this for? Caregivers who want a compact 5-ounce bottle option that supports a breastfeeding-like latch, simplifies cleaning, and offers a venting system designed to keep bubbles out of the nipple area will find the Evenflo Balance + Wide Neck bottles useful. This pack of six is suited for newborn and infant feeding routines where measured, slower-paced flow and straightforward maintenance are priorities.
