Etekcity Smart Body Scale — Tempered Glass 400 lb Capacity, 13-Metric Body Composition & App or Phone-Free Mode

Etekcity Upgraded Smart Scale delivers precise weight and multi-metric body composition tracking with optional app integration and phone-free operation. This tempered-glass smart scale measures weight up to 400 lb and reports 13 body composition metrics, including body fat and BMI, while supporting both app-connected and standalone use. Designed for everyday routines, it pairs with the VeSync app (iOS 15+/Android 8+) for trend tracking, calorie logging, and integration with Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Samsung Health and MyFitnessPal. Pre-installed AAA batteries and automatic user recognition make setup simple; a rear switch enables complete app-free operation when you prefer to keep your data local.

How accurate are the weight and body composition readings?

The scale uses AC methodology and dual-frequency electrodes to improve measurement stability and consistency over basic bathroom scales. Weight resolution adjusts by range for optimal precision, and body composition is estimated across multiple metrics to show trends rather than clinical diagnostics.

• Weight capacity: 400 lb / 180 kg / 28 st
• Resolution: 0.1 lb (0.05 kg) under 220 lb; 0.2 lb (0.1 kg) above 220 lb
• Tempered glass platform with stable footing for consistent readings
• Dual-frequency electrodes and AC methodology reduce electrical noise

What features does the VeSync app provide and which platforms connect?

The VeSync app stores your history, displays trends, and offers optional diet and exercise plans to help interpret metrics and stay on track. Data can be shared with popular health platforms so you can consolidate metrics across devices and apps.

• Syncs via Bluetooth with iOS 15.0+ and Android 8.0+
• Integrates with Apple Health, Google Fit, Fitbit, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal
• Tracks 13 body composition metrics and calorie intake logs

Can I use the scale without a phone or app?

• Phone-free mode activated by rear switch

How does setup and daily use look for busy households?

Setup is straightforward: place the 11 x 11 in (28 x 28 cm) tempered glass scale on a flat surface, confirm batteries are installed, and step on to auto-calibrate. The scale recognizes multiple users and records each weigh-in automatically, making it convenient for families with several profiles.

• Pre-installed 4 x AAA batteries for instant use
• Automatic user recognition for multiple household members
• Compact, slip-resistant platform fits most bathrooms
• Easy unit switching: lb / kg / st
