EquiGroomer 5-Inch Undercoat Deshedding Brush for Cats & Small Dogs, Mahogany — Stainless-Steel Blade, Comfort-Grip Handle

The EquiGroomer 5-inch Undercoat Deshedding Brush in mahogany gently removes loose fur and undercoat from cats and small dogs for less shedding and a shinier coat.

Designed to make at-home grooming faster and less stressful, this compact deshedding tool pairs a rounded stainless-steel 5-inch blade with an ergonomic comfort-grip handle. It tucks easily into tight areas like faces and paws, works on both short and long coats, and helps reduce loose hair around the house without cutting healthy fur.

How does this brush actually reduce shedding around the home?

Regular use reaches the undercoat where most loose hair originates and captures it before it falls onto furniture and floors. By removing dead hair at the root layer, it lowers the volume of loose fur on clothing and household surfaces.

• 5-inch stainless-steel blade extracts undercoat and loose fur.
• Rounded teeth glide without nicking skin or cutting live hair.
• Frequent short sessions prevent large hairballs and debris buildup.
• Suitable for both short and long coats to keep shedding manageable.

Will it work on sensitive areas like the face, paws, and tail?

The compact blade and rounded teeth are designed for precision in small or delicate spots. Gentle strokes let you clear loose fur from faces, legs, and paws while keeping your pet calm.

• 5-inch width fits narrow regions and maneuvers easily.
• Rounded tips reduce tugging and irritation in sensitive zones.
• Lightweight handle gives controlled pressure for delicate grooming.

Can I use this on both cats and small dogs, and on different coat types?

Yes — the EquiGroomer 5-inch blade works on a wide range of coat textures. It pulls loose undercoat from double-coated breeds and removes shedding fur from single-coated pets without damaging healthy hair.

• Effective on short, medium, and long hair lengths.
• Suitable for many cat breeds and small dog breeds.
• Helps maintain coat softness and shine with regular use.

How comfortable is it to use for both pet and owner?

The brush was made with user comfort in mind: a lightweight, ergonomic handle reduces wrist fatigue and improves control for quicker sessions. Pets respond better to short, calm grooming, and the design supports that approach.

• Comfort-grip handle for secure, relaxed hold.
• Balanced weight for steady strokes and less arm strain.
• Rounded tooth edges keep grooming gentle to reduce stress.
