Epson EcoTank ET-2800 Wireless Color All-in-One Printer — Black, Refillable Supertank, Low-Cost Printing

The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is a cartridge-free wireless all‑in‑one color printer that uses high-capacity refillable ink tanks to deliver low‑cost everyday printing, scanning and copying for home use.

Designed for families and home offices that need reliable, affordable color printing without frequent cartridge swaps, the ET-2800 replaces dozens of tiny cartridges with refillable ink bottles that yield thousands of pages. It combines a compact footprint, a simple front display, scanner bed and wireless connectivity so you can print from computers, phones and voice assistants with minimal fuss.

How does the EcoTank design keep ink costs and waste down?

The EcoTank system uses large refillable tanks and bundled ink bottles instead of disposable cartridges, so you buy ink far less often and produce less plastic waste. Each included ink set can replace roughly 90 individual cartridges, while replacement bottles are formulated to last for many hundreds or thousands of pages.

• Refillable tanks reduce cartridge replacements and landfill waste.
• Bundled ink set equals about 90 standard cartridges per manufacturer estimates.
• Print yields up to thousands of pages—4,500 black and 7,500 color per replacement set (manufacturer figures).

What connectivity and usability features make it fit for home use?

The ET-2800 supports wireless printing from laptops, smartphones and tablets and also offers hands‑free voice printing through compatible assistants. A simple color display and a high‑resolution flatbed scanner make copying and scanning straightforward for everyday household tasks.

• Wireless printing and mobile device support including voice‑activated options.
• Color LCD for setup, status and basic copy/scan controls.
• Flatbed scanner for documents and photos at home.

How is print quality and speed for home documents and photos?

Using Epson’s Micro Piezo Heat‑Free Technology, the printer produces vivid, consistent color and sharp text suitable for schoolwork, letters and casual photos. Typical document throughput is about 10 ISO pages per minute, enough for daily household print loads without long waits.

• Micro Piezo printing heads deliver detailed text and color output.
• Approximate speed: 10 ISO ppm for faster handling of multi‑page jobs.
• Suitable for everyday documents, school projects and casual photo printing.

What maintenance or compatibility considerations should I know?

Epson recommends using genuine ink bottles to preserve print performance and protect the printer’s warranty. Regularly checking tank levels and following the quick refill procedure will minimize spills and downtime; the heat‑free design also helps reduce long‑term wear on printheads.

• Use genuine Epson ink for optimal performance and warranty coverage.
• Front‑facing ink tanks for easy level checks and refill access.
• Heat‑free Micro Piezo technology reduces thermal stress on components.

Who this is for: The Epson EcoTank ET-2800 is best for families, students and small home offices that want to lower ongoing ink expense, cut cartridge waste and simplify home printing. If you regularly print documents, photos or school projects and prefer minimal maintenance with reliable wireless convenience, the ET-2800 offers a balanced mix of low running costs, easy refilling and everyday print quality.
