Emily's Choice Biodegradable Trash Bags Code Q — 50 ct, 13–17 gal Heavy-Duty 1.2 mil D2W

Emily's Choice Biodegradable Trash Bag Code Q is a 50-count pack of heavy-duty, D2W-enhanced 13–17 gallon liners designed to fit Simplehuman Code Q cans and break down faster than conventional plastics.

These garbage bags combine puncture-resistant strength with additives that accelerate environmental breakdown under appropriate conditions. Sized to suit most tall kitchen and small outdoor bins, the 1.2 mil (30 micron) thickness aims to resist rips while allowing effortless tying and removal. They carry ASTM 6954 testing alignment and use D2W pro-degradation technology to reduce persistence compared with standard polyethylene film.

How tough are these bags for heavy household waste?

Emily's Choice Code Q liners are engineered from reinforced film to handle dense or sharp refuse without tearing easily. The 1.2 mil (30 micron) thickness and reinforced seams give extra puncture resistance for everyday and party cleanups.

• 1.2 mil / 30 micron thickness for added strength
• Reinforced film resists punctures from bones and tin
• Designed to be stuffed to capacity without splitting
• Compatible with 13–17 gallon tall cans, including Simplehuman Code Q

Will these bags tie and remove cleanly from the bin?

The bags have a user-friendly profile that lifts and ties quickly, reducing spills and fuss during disposal. Their smooth film surface helps them slide out of cans and form a secure knot for transport to outdoor waste or curbside collection.

• Easy-to-tie design for quick closure
• Smooth interior reduces catching on can rims
• Ties firmly so contents stay contained during removal
• Helps avoid tearing when pulling from a full bin

What does D2W and ASTM 6954 mean for environmental performance?

D2W is an additive technology that promotes oxidation and subsequent biodegradation under the right environmental conditions; ASTM 6954 is a guide for plastics that degrade by oxidation plus biodegradation. Together they indicate these bags are formulated to break down more readily than standard polyethylene, though breakdown depends on factors like sunlight, heat and microbial activity.

• D2W additive promotes oxidative degradation processes
• Manufactured to meet ASTM 6954 guidance for degradation pathways
• Breakdown rate influenced by exposure conditions (heat, oxygen, microbes)
• Not a substitute for proper waste management or composting systems

How do I know these fit my trash can?

These liners are specified for 13–17 gallon capacity cans and are labeled Code Q to match common tall bin models. Measure your can’s capacity or interior dimensions to confirm a snug fit before purchase.

• Fits most tall kitchen and small outdoor cans 13–17 gallons
• Compatible with Simplehuman Code Q bins and similar designs
• 50 bags per roll for routine household use
• Generous dimensions to wrap around lids and rims securely

Who is this for? If you want strong, easy-to-tie trash liners that fit tall kitchen cans and offer an improved end-of-life profile compared with conventional plastic, Emily's Choice Biodegradable Trash Bag Code Q is aimed at households, event hosts, and small businesses seeking dependable liners with D2W-enhanced degradation and ASTM 6954 alignment. These bags suit users who prioritize puncture resistance and convenient disposal while also considering materials designed to break down more rapidly under suitable environmental conditions.
