Elmer's Color Rush Slime Kit — 10‑Piece Set with Color‑Changing, Glow‑in‑the‑Dark & Butter Slimes

Elmer's Color Rush Slime Kit is a complete 10-piece set of washable glues and liquid activators that lets kids create color-changing, glow-in-the-dark, butter, crunchy and scented slimes at home.

Bring hands-on creativity to playtime with a ready-to-use slime collection from a trusted school-supply name. This kit pairs five different Elmer's liquid glues—clear, color-changing (purple to pink), glow-in-the-dark purple, silver glitter, and translucent blue—with five matching liquid activators. Each component is formulated to be easy to mix and washable, so kids can experiment safely while learning textures, colors and basic mixing principles.

What types of slime can I make with this set?

You can make a wide variety of slimes that behave and look differently: stretchy clear slime, butter-style soft slime, crunchy textured slime, glow-in-the-dark fun, scented slime, and slimes that change color when warmed or manipulated. The different glue and activator combinations produce predictable, repeatable results for successful play sessions.

• Butter slime: soft, spreadable texture using the butter activator
• Crunchy slime: adds beads or a crunchy activator for sound and texture
• Glow slime: charges under light and glows in the dark
• Color-changing slime: shifts hue from purple to pink with temperature or friction

How do I use the glues and liquid activators safely?

Each Elmer's glue in this kit is washable and non-toxic, designed for craft use. The included Magical Liquid activators are an all-in-one formula that transforms glue into slime without the need for household additives like saline or baking soda. Supervise young children, follow simple mixing steps, and store finished slime in airtight containers to keep it fresh.

• Measure glue first, then slowly add activator while stirring
• Stop adding activator as the slime pulls away cleanly from the bowl
• Wash hands after play and avoid contact with eyes
• Store in sealed containers at room temperature to retain texture

What comes in the 10 pieces and how much are the components?

The kit includes five bottles of Elmer’s liquid glue and five different Magical Liquid slime activators, each labeled for its effect. Glue sizes and activator weights are varied so you have enough material to mix multiple batches and try several combinations without restocking immediately.

• Glues: Clear (5 oz), Color Changing Purple-to-Pink (5 oz), Glow-in-the-Dark Purple (5 oz), Silver Glitter (6 oz), Translucent Blue (5 oz)
• Activators: Regular (2.3 oz), Crunchy (51.2 g), Butter (1.7 oz), Glow-in-the-Dark (65 g), Cherry Limeade-scented (65 g)
• All-in-one activators eliminate the need for extra household ingredients

How can I customize slime for parties or gifts?

The variety in this kit makes it ideal for group activities because each child can choose a unique combo. For parties, set up a mixing station with bowls, spoons and small trays for add-ins like beads or foam. For gifts, you can pre-make a few finished slimes in clear jars, label them by type, and include a simple instruction card.

• Create themed slime stations (glow table, butter table, color-change station)
• Package finished slime in airtight jars for party favors
• Use the scented activator sparingly for a light cherry-lime aroma

Who this set is for: Families, classroom craft sessions, birthday party hosts and kids who enjoy tactile play will benefit from this kit’s variety and safety-focused formulation. It’s well suited for ages where adult supervision is available for mixing, and it appeals to creative children who like to experiment with colors, textures and simple craft chemistry.
