EHEYCIGA Orthopedic Extra Large Dog Bed 44" XL — Memory Foam Sofa Bed with Waterproof Washable Cover & Three-Sided Bolsters

The EHEYCIGA Orthopedic Extra Large Dog Bed is a 44-inch, memory-foam sofa-style bed with three-sided bolsters, a waterproof barrier, and a removable washable cover designed to give large and elderly dogs supportive, cozy rest.

This roomy XL pet bed blends pressure-relieving memory foam with an egg-crate comfort layer and cushioned bolsters to create a nest-like sleep surface for heavier or aging dogs. Built with a fleece sleeping area for softness, faux-linen sides for style, and a waterproof film under the cover, the bed aims to balance comfort, durability, and easy maintenance for busy pet households.

How does the memory foam improve sleep for large or older dogs?

The bed combines a supportive memory foam core with an egg-crate top layer that helps distribute weight evenly and reduce concentrated pressure points. These materials adapt to your dog’s shape, offering a stable yet cushioning base that can make lying down and getting up smoother for heavier or less mobile dogs.

• High-density memory foam provides full-body support for extra-large breeds.
• Egg-crate layer adds contouring comfort and airflow to the sleeping surface.
• Three-sided bolsters support head and neck positioning for restful naps.

Is the cover really easy to clean and protect against accidents?

The cover unzips so you can remove the foam insert and machine wash the outer fabric, simplifying routine cleaning. A waterproof film sits between the fleece top and the bottom fabric to help keep the foam dry from spills or light accidents, though the faux-linen sides are not fully waterproof.

• Removable zippered cover is machine-washable for regular laundering.
• Internal waterproof layer protects foam from moisture on the sleeping surface.
• Foam insert should be spot-cleaned only and allowed to air out after unpacking.

What size and layout features should I expect from the 44" XL model?

The 44-inch size is intended for extra-large and some very large breeds, offering ample lying and stretching room. The sofa-style layout includes a raised back and two side bolsters that create a secure, enclosed feel while leaving one side open for easy access.

• 44" diameter sleeping area suitable for large-bodied dogs to sprawl comfortably.
• Three-sided bolsters form a supportive perimeter for head and neck rest.
• Fleece top on the sleeping surface for a warm, inviting texture.

How should I care for the bed to keep it lasting and fresh?

Remove the foam insert before washing the cover and launder the cover on a gentle cycle to preserve the fabric and zipper. After unpacking, let the foam expand 24–48 hours to regain its shape and avoid machine-washing the foam; instead, spot-clean any stains and air-dry thoroughly.

• Machine wash cover on a gentle cycle; air dry recommended.
• Do not machine-wash the foam insert; spot clean only.
• Allow 24–48 hours for foam to fully expand after unboxing.
