eero eero Pro 7 tri‑band Wi‑Fi 7 mesh router 3‑pack — up to 6,000 sq ft coverage, multi‑gig 5 Gbps

The eero Pro 7 (3-pack) is a tri-band Wi‑Fi 7 mesh system designed to deliver multi-gig internet, wide home coverage up to 6,000 sq ft, and support for hundreds of devices.

Built for modern homes and small businesses with heavy streaming, gaming, smart devices, and hybrid work needs, this three-unit kit combines the latest Wi‑Fi 7 features with eero's mesh software to reduce dead zones and prioritize reliable connections. It accepts internet plans as fast as 5 Gbps via two auto-sensing 5 GbE ports and offers wireless throughput optimized for latency-sensitive tasks. Backward compatibility lets the Pro 7 work with older eero nodes and some Echo devices with eero built-in.

How does the eero Pro 7 improve coverage and eliminate dead zones?

The eero Pro 7 mesh uses three nodes that communicate to fill gaps across multiple floors and rooms, creating a single seamless network name for devices to roam on. eero's routing algorithms and band steering help maintain stable connections as you move through the space.

• Three nodes cover up to 6,000 sq ft in typical home layouts.
• Tri-band radios allocate traffic to reduce congestion.
• TrueMesh routing aims to route around local interference.
• Roaming is handled automatically so devices switch to stronger nodes.

What performance can I expect for high-speed internet plans?

This model supports multi-gig ISP plans up to 5 Gbps using two 5 GbE auto-sensing ports and offers wireless speeds designed to take advantage of Wi‑Fi 7 improvements like multi-link operation. Real-world throughput depends on your internet feed, wiring, device capabilities, and placement, but the hardware is built to support demanding use cases.

• Two 5 GbE ports for multi-gig wired connections and WAN failover.
• Wireless speeds scaled for high-bandwidth streaming and cloud gaming.
• Supports 600+ connected devices in typical home/business setups.
• Latest Wi‑Fi 7 features reduce latency for interactive apps.

Is eero Pro 7 easy to set up and manage?

Yes—installation is handled through the eero mobile app, which guides you step-by-step from connecting the gateway node to placing satellites. The app also provides network diagnostics, device prioritization, guest access, and firmware updates to simplify ongoing management.

• Quick app walkthroughs for initial configuration and placement tips.
• Automatic firmware updates keep the system current.
• Device-level controls and simple guest network setup in-app.
• Optional subscription features add advanced security and parental controls.

What security and compatibility options are available?

eero offers an optional subscription that layers on advanced security tools, ad blocking, parental controls, and VPN features. The Pro 7 is also backward compatible with previous eero generations and integrates with select Echo devices that include eero built-in.

• Optional eero Plus/Advanced Security adds malware and ad protections.
• Compatibility with older eero nodes for mixed-system deployments.
• Works with certain Echo devices that have eero built-in for tighter integration.
• Three-year warranty and access to eero support resources.

Who is this for? The eero Pro 7 (3-pack) is aimed at homeowners, small business owners, and tech-forward households that need a fast, resilient wireless network across a large footprint. Choose this kit if you subscribe to multi-gig internet, have many simultaneous devices, require low latency for gaming or real-time collaboration, or want a straightforward app-driven setup with optional subscription security features.
