Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro liquid fertilizer 8 oz — high-nitrogen 9-3-6 for tropical foliage, nitrate-based growth

Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro 8 oz is a one-part, high-nitrogen liquid fertilizer formulated to promote vigorous growth and stronger stems in tropical foliage plants.

Foliage-Pro 9-3-6 delivers immediately available nitrate-based nitrogen with essential minerals in a urea-free, salt-managing formula. Designed for both root drench and light foliar applications, it provides balanced nutrition for phosphorous-sensitive and tropical foliage species. Because it’s a complete single-part nutrient, growers can feed plants without mixing multiple components, making it practical for hobbyists and professional growers alike.

How should I use Dyna-Gro Foliage-Pro to get the best growth results?

Apply primarily as a root drench at the recommended dilution to support steady vegetative growth and improved internodal spacing. Use foliar spraying at lower concentration only for quick corrective feeding or to address minor deficiencies.

• Mix at about 1/4 teaspoon per gallon for regular feeding (follow label for species-specific rates).
• Use root drench as routine feed; foliar spray for rapid uptake when needed.
• Avoid over-concentrating to prevent salt build-up—product is formulated to minimize this when used correctly.

Why is the N-P-K and nitrogen form important for foliage plants?

The 9-3-6 N-P-K ratio emphasizes nitrogen to drive leaf growth while keeping phosphorus moderate for phosphorous-sensitive species. Foliage-Pro’s high nitrate-to-ammoniacal nitrogen ratio supports stronger stems and better internode spacing without relying on urea.

• High nitrate-based nitrogen encourages rapid, even leaf expansion.
• Moderate phosphorus avoids issues in sensitive plants.
• Balanced potassium and trace minerals support overall vigor and stress resilience.

Can I use this concentrate for both houseplants and commercial greenhouse production?

Yes—its one-part, complete formulation makes it versatile for small collections and larger operations. The immediate availability of nutrients supports scheduled feedings, and scale dosing is easy for different system sizes.

• Suitable for potted tropical foliage, hanging baskets, and bench-grown ornamentals.
• Works with conventional irrigation, hand-watering, and foliar treatments.
• Urea-free formula helps reduce salt accumulation when used at recommended rates.

How quickly will I see improvements after feeding with Foliage-Pro?

Because nutrients are immediately available, visual responses—such as improved leaf color and turgor—can appear within days for foliar-fed plants and within one to two weeks for root-applied treatments. Persistent issues may need repeated, properly dosed feedings and environmental adjustments.

• Foliar applications can correct mild deficiencies within days.
• Root drench supports sustained growth over weekly feed cycles.
• Monitor plant response and adjust concentration or frequency accordingly.
