Dwersty One Way Window Privacy Film 23.6" x 78.74" - Reflective Daytime Mirror, Heat & UV Blocking

Dwersty One Way Window Privacy Film is a daytime privacy and solar-control window tint that lets light in while reflecting views from outside when outdoors are brighter than indoors.

This 23.6" x 78.74" static-cling film combines a reflective daytime mirror effect with measurable heat and UV reduction, designed for homes, offices, and rental windows where you want natural light without outside visibility. It installs without adhesive, comes with free installation tools inside the tube, and is fully removable so it won’t leave residue on the glass.

How does this film keep rooms cooler on sunny days?

The Dwersty film uses a reflective multilayer surface to bounce a large portion of solar heat back outside while still permitting daylight. By reducing infrared and overall solar gain, the film helps air conditioners reach and maintain temperature more efficiently, which can lower cooling demand.

• Blocks 85% of IR rays to reduce heat transfer.
• Reflective surface diverts direct sunlight before it heats interior surfaces.
• Allows visible light so rooms remain bright without overheating.

Will this provide privacy at night or only during daytime?

Dwersty’s one way mirror effect works when the exterior is brighter than the interior, delivering strong daytime privacy. At night, if interior lights are brighter than outside, the mirror effect reverses and visibility from outside increases, so curtains or blinds are recommended after dark.

• Daytime: outside sees a mirrored surface, inside sees out clearly.
• Nighttime: interior lighting can make the window visible from outside.
• Tip: draw curtains at night for continuous privacy.

How easy is it to install and remove the film?

This film uses static cling rather than glue, so installation is clean and reversible with no adhesive residue. Dwersty includes free tools inside the paper tube and recommends soapy water for a smooth application; removal is simple and won’t damage the glass.

• No glue — peels off cleanly when you’re ready to remove it.
• Included tools in the roll save time and cost.
• Use plenty of soapy water on both glass and film for bubble-free placement.

What protection does the film give against UV and glare?

The film significantly cuts UV and reduces glare, helping protect furnishings and eyes from sun damage while maintaining natural daylight. It filters the bulk of harmful rays without darkening rooms excessively.

• Blocks up to 93% of UV radiation to reduce fading of fabrics and decor.
• Reduces harsh glare to improve visual comfort near windows.
• Permits daylight so spaces stay bright without direct sun intensity.

Who is this for: Dwersty’s upgraded one way window privacy film is ideal for apartment dwellers, homeowners, and small-business owners who want daytime privacy, reduced solar heat, and UV protection without permanent tinting. It also suits renters who need a removable, non-damaging solution, and anyone looking to lower cooling loads while retaining natural light. If you need privacy through the day, easier temperature control, and a residue-free installation, this film offers a practical balance of visibility, protection, and convenience.
