Dreft Baby Liquid Laundry Detergent 150 fl oz — Gentle, Dermatologist-Tested for Sensitive Skin, 114 Loads

Dreft Baby Liquid Laundry Detergent is a dermatologist-tested, baby-formulated liquid that cleans baby clothes, removes common infant stains, and is gentle on sensitive skin. Dreft has been a trusted name for baby laundry for decades, designed to balance stain removal with a gentle formula appropriate for newborns and sensitive skin. This 150 fl oz jug provides up to 114 loads and contains no added chlorine bleach or dyes. It’s formulated to target milk, spit-up, blowouts, and everyday soils while offering a light, dermatologist-tested freshness that families often prefer for baby garments and linens.

How does Dreft handle common baby messes?

Dreft’s liquid formulation is made to lift and dissolve typical infant stains without aggressive additives. It combines surfactants and enzymes tuned for protein- and oil-based soils so fabrics come out clean but not harshly treated.

• Works on spit-up, milk stains and blowouts.
• Enzyme action helps break down protein-based stains.
• Liquid form penetrates fibers for better stain release.

Is this detergent safe for newborn or sensitive skin?

The product is dermatologist-tested for sensitive skin and formulated without added chlorine bleach or dyes, reducing common irritants. While suitable for many infants, parents should patch-test if baby has known allergies or very reactive skin.

• No added chlorine bleach or dyes to limit irritation risk.
• Dermatologist-tested scent, designed to be mild.
• Suitable for infant clothing, blankets and cloth diapers when used as directed.

Will Dreft work in all washing machines and water types?

Dreft is compatible with both high-efficiency (HE) and standard washing machines and performs across a variety of water temperatures. Use the recommended dose for load size and soil level to maintain fabric care and cleaning efficiency.

• Safe for HE and standard machines.
• Effective in cold, warm, or hot water depending on stain and fabric care.
• Measured dosing reduces residue and prolongs garment life.

How can I boost long-lasting baby freshness?

If you prefer extended scent longevity, Dreft offers a compatible laundry scent booster that can be added separately. The booster is formulated to layer a light fragrance that lasts through wear without overpowering delicate baby items.

• Optional scent booster beads available for longer-lasting freshness.
• Booster pairs with Dreft for up to six times longer freshness versus detergent alone (per brand testing).
• Add only as directed to avoid over-scenting delicate fabrics.

Who is this for Parents and caregivers who want a baby-specific detergent that balances effective cleaning with a mild, dermatologist-tested formula will find Dreft a practical choice. It’s especially suited for newborns, infants with typically sensitive skin, families who prefer a long-standing trusted brand, and anyone seeking a chlorine- and dye-free option for baby laundry. Use it for daily loads, baby apparel, swaddles, bedding, and other items that need gentle yet thorough cleaning.
