Dr. Marty Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food for Adult Small Breeds, 16 oz — 81% Real Meat & Veg

Dr. Marty Nature's Blend is a freeze-dried raw dog food formulated with 81% real meat, fruits, and vegetables to provide balanced, minimally processed nutrition for adult small-breed dogs.

This one-pound bag of Dr. Marty Nature's Blend delivers concentrated, shelf-stable servings of whole-food ingredients crafted from the formulas of Dr. Martin Goldstein. The freeze-drying process preserves flavor and nutrients without high-heat cooking, creating bite-sized pieces that are easy for small mouths to chew and digest. The recipe focuses on real cuts of meat alongside vegetables and fruit, avoiding artificial preservatives and synthetic nutrient powders.

How does freeze-drying preserve nutrition compared with kibble?

Freeze-drying removes moisture at low temperatures to retain more of the original food structure, aroma, and heat-sensitive nutrients. Unlike extrusion-cooked kibble, this method helps keep flavors vivid and many vitamins and enzymes closer to their natural state.

• Low-temperature dehydration preserves delicate nutrients and natural flavor.
• Concentrated form means smaller serving size with equivalent nutrition.
• Rehydrates quickly for a soft, palatable meal if you prefer feeding moist food.

What ingredients are in Nature's Blend and why do they matter?

The formula centers on premium animal proteins with supporting vegetables and fruit to create complete adult nutrition. Dr. Marty’s approach emphasizes whole ingredients over synthetic vitamin powders, so your dog gets recognizable foods first.

• Approximately 81% real meat, fruits, and vegetables for protein and whole-food nutrients.
• No artificial preservatives—ingredients are preserved by freeze-drying.
• Small, uniform pieces suited to adult small-breed chewing and digestion.

How should I serve this food to a small-breed adult dog?

The product can be fed dry as a crunchy, nutrient-dense meal or rehydrated with warm water to create a softer texture. Portioning depends on your dog’s weight, activity level, and metabolism; follow the feeding guide on the package and adjust for body condition and energy needs.

• Feed dry or add water for rehydrated meals—mix until desired texture.
• Use provided feeding instructions as a starting point and adjust gradually.
• Store tightly sealed in a cool, dry place to keep pieces crisp and fresh.

Will this formula suit dogs with food sensitivities?

The minimal processing and whole-ingredient focus can be helpful for owners seeking simpler ingredient lists, but every dog is different. If your pet has known allergies or sensitivities, review the full ingredient statement and consult your veterinarian when changing diets.

• No synthetic vitamin or mineral powders used; ingredients are whole-food based.
• Avoids artificial preservatives, which some owners prefer for sensitive pets.
• Check the label for specific proteins or additives that may trigger individual allergies.

Who is this for? Dr. Marty Nature's Blend Freeze-Dried Raw Dog Food is designed for adult small-breed dogs whose owners want a higher percentage of whole meats, fruits, and vegetables and prefer a minimally processed, shelf-stable option. It's a practical choice for busy households that want the benefits of raw-style ingredients without daily refrigerated meal prep.
