Dr. Brown's Anti-Colic Options+ Narrow & Sippy Straw Bottle Gift Set, Vented Bottles with Breast-Like Nipples

Dr. Brown's Anti-Colic Options+ Narrow and Sippy Straw Bottle Gift Set is a starter collection combining anti-colic narrow bottles and a sippy straw cup to support feeding transitions from birth onward.

This gift set groups Dr. Brown's Natural Flow Options+ narrow bottles with a straw sippy designed for newborns and beyond. The system centers on an internal vent that separates air from milk, paired with breast-like silicone nipples and a straw cup to help move from bottle feeding toward independent sipping. The pieces are compatible within the Options+ line so caregivers can use the vented system while it’s needed and remove it later as feeding skills evolve.

How does the vented bottle help during bottle feeds?

The internal vent in these bottles routes air away from the milk so babies swallow less air while feeding. That can support calmer feeds and fewer interruptions for burping. The bottle also yields a steady, vacuum-free flow that mimics some aspects of breastfeeding.

• Internal vent separates air from liquid to reduce air swallowing.
• Vacuum-free flow allows feeding at a consistent pace.
• Breast-like silicone nipples encourage a natural latch and rhythm.

What makes the Options+ bottles adjustable as baby grows?

The Options+ system is modular: the vent inserts can remain installed for anti-colic performance or be removed when parents prefer a more standard bottle. Nipples come in different flow rates so you can progress as your baby’s feeding changes without switching bottle brands. That continuity helps families avoid multiple different bottles in the rotation.

• Removable internal vent to switch between vented and non-vented profiles.
• Interchangeable silicone nipples available in graduated flow rates.
• Same narrow bottle shape useful from newborn to older infant stages.

Why include a sippy straw cup in the gift set?

The sippy straw cup is included to ease the move from bottle to independent drinking. Its soft straw supports a natural sip motion and reduces tipping while the cup’s size suits small hands. Using a straw cup alongside the bottle helps practice oral skills needed for later cups and solids.

• Soft straw encourages a forward lip and tongue movement used for drinking.
• Compact, toddler-friendly shape for easy gripping and handling.
• Compatible care instructions align with bottle cleaning routines.

How should caregivers clean and maintain these pieces?

Each component disassembles for thorough cleaning and is dishwasher-safe on the top rack, though handwashing can extend the life of silicone parts. Inspect vents and nipples regularly and replace them according to wear. Proper assembly ensures consistent performance from the vent system.

• Disassemble vent, nipple, and bottle for cleaning; top-rack dishwasher safe.
• Rinse and allow all parts to air dry before reassembly.
• Check silicone pieces for wear and replace as needed for hygiene.
