Downy Infusions CALM Liquid Fabric Softener — Soothing Lavender & Vanilla, 56 fl oz Pack of 2, HE‑Safe

Downy Infusions CALM Liquid Fabric Softener wraps laundry in long-lasting softness and a soothing lavender‑vanilla aroma.

Bring a gentle, spa‑inspired scent and noticeable softness to every wash with Downy Infusions CALM. This liquid fabric conditioner combines an improved softening formula with a comforting blend of lavender and vanilla bean to reduce fabric stiffness and leave clothes, linens, and towels feeling smoother. Designed to work with standard and high‑efficiency machines, it’s added through the fabric softener compartment for seamless results alongside your preferred detergent.

How does this fabric softener make clothes feel softer?

Downy Infusions CALM contains concentrated softening ingredients that coat fibers, reducing friction and making fabrics feel smoother to the touch. The formula delivers more softeners than typical detergents alone, so garments and towels come out less scratchy and easier to fold or wear.

• Contains four times the softening agents compared with leading liquid detergents alone
• Improved formula vs. previous Downy Infusions for enhanced softness
• Works on a variety of fabrics without leaving heavy residue
• Dispenses via the fabric softener drawer for even distribution

Will the lavender and vanilla scent last through storage and wearing?

The CALM fragrance blends lavender and vanilla bean to create a subtle, lingering aroma that remains noticeable after drying and during wear. Scent longevity depends on fabric type and storage conditions, but the formulation is designed to impart a pleasant, not overpowering, scent profile.

• Balanced scent strength for everyday wearables and linens
• Works well with your regular detergent—pairing can enhance fragrance retention
• Best results on frequently washed garments and soft textiles
• Avoid overuse on scent‑sensitive items or close‑to‑skin newborn clothing

Is this product safe for all washing machines and fabrics?

Yes—Downy Infusions CALM is formulated for compatibility with both standard and high‑efficiency machines and is safe on most washable fabrics. To protect delicate items, follow garment care labels and dilute or use sparingly on moisture‑sensitive textiles.

• Suitable for HE and standard washers when used as directed
• Safe for common fabrics like cotton, polyester, blends, and terry
• Use fabric softener drawer or dispenser to prevent direct contact with clothes
• Avoid on water‑repellent or flame‑resistant fabrics unless label permits

How much should I use and how does one bottle fit into a laundry routine?

The bottle’s 56 fl oz capacity is sized for regular household use—measure according to load size and soil level for consistent results. Add the recommended amount to your machine’s softener compartment at the start of the cycle for automatic dispensing during the rinse phase.

• Measure by cap lines or product instructions for small, medium, or large loads
• Pack of two bottles provides extended supply for weekly laundry cycles
• Compatible with capsule or liquid detergents for layered scent and softness
• Store upright in a cool, dry place away from direct heat or sunlight

Who is this for? Downy Infusions CALM is ideal for shoppers who want noticeably softer fabrics with a calming scent—people who wash clothing, bedding, and towels regularly and prefer a subtle lavender‑vanilla fragrance. It’s a practical choice for families, individuals seeking a gentler aroma in laundry, and anyone using HE or standard washing machines who wants an easy step to improve comfort and scent without changing detergents.
