Diyvac Wet Vac Attachment for AC Drain Lines — Universal Wet-Vac Hose Fit, 1" Elbow & Clear Tube

The Diyvac patented wet vac attachment is a universal nozzle that fits multiple wet-vac hose sizes to quickly evacuate and unclog AC condensate drain lines.

This compact accessory was engineered to adapt to a range of wet-vac hose diameters while providing a direct one-inch connection to your air conditioning drain line. Its clear tubing gives immediate visual feedback as debris and sediment are removed, and a ribbed elbow ensures a secure grip while you work. Designed for HVAC technicians, DIYers, and building maintenance teams, the attachment eliminates guesswork about hose compatibility and speeds routine drain-line maintenance.

How does the Diyvac attachment handle different wet-vac hose sizes?

The base of the unit is molded to accept several common wet-vac hose diameters so you don’t need multiple adaptors. It expands or seats securely around the vacuum cuff, creating a tight seal for effective suction across sizes.

• Fits 1.25", 1.50", 1 7/8" and 2.5" wet-vac hoses
• Single-piece base design reduces air leaks
• No extra hose reducers required for most shop vacs

What connection does the attachment use for the AC drain line?

The attachment includes a custom black ribbed elbow sized to mate with a standard one-inch drain opening. That elbow gives a snug, non-slip connection to the drain line so suction transfers directly to the clog point.

• 1" elbow fits common condensate outlets
• Ribbing improves hand grip and resists twisting
• Clear tube portion shows extracted material for fast assessment

How will this accessory save time and service costs?

By combining multi-hose compatibility with a direct, visible connection to the drain, the Diyvac attachment reduces trial-and-error during maintenance. Technicians can quickly determine if a drain is clear or still obstructed and avoid unnecessary callbacks.

• Faster diagnostics thanks to clear tubing visibility
• Reduces need for multiple adaptors or tools on-site
• Helps lower recurring service visits for routine clogs

Are there any installation or sizing precautions?

Before ordering, confirm that the condensate drain line has a one-inch opening to accept the elbow. The attachment works with many wet vacuums, but a secure fit depends on both the vacuum hose and the drain dimensions.

• Verify drain line inner diameter is 1" before purchase
• Ensure your wet vac hose is one of the listed sizes for best seal
• Hand-tighten and check the ribbed elbow for a secure fit

Who is this for? HVAC professionals, building maintenance staff, and homeowners comfortable with basic equipment upkeep who want a reliable, time-saving tool to clear condensate drain lines. If you regularly service multiple systems or want to avoid repeated service calls for common clogs, this attachment provides a visible, adaptable solution that streamlines wet-vac drain evacuation. Please confirm your drain opening is one inch before purchasing to ensure compatibility.
