DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks 8-Pack — 120 lb Neodymium Swivel Hooks, Triple-Plated Corrosion-Resistant

DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks 8-pack are compact, swivel neodymium hooks that hold up to 120 lb on horizontal metal surfaces for quick, drill-free hanging.

These magnetic hooks combine powerful rare-earth magnets with a swiveling metal hook and corrosion-resistant triple plating so you can attach and reposition storage anywhere there's a ferrous surface. Each hook measures roughly 32 mm (1.26 in) across and arrives in a set of eight, designed for closets, garages, boats, RVs, entryways, workshops, and other spots where you need fast, removable hanging solutions.

How strong are these hooks and what does 120 lb mean?

Each hook uses a neodymium magnet rated for about 120 pounds of attractive force when attached flat to a thick, horizontal steel surface. In real-world vertical or edge-hanging scenarios, the effective load-bearing drops to roughly one third, so plan accordingly for overhead or hanging uses.

• Rated capacity: ~120 lb on ideal horizontal steel.
• Vertical/edge use: expect ~40 lb practical capacity.
• Measure attachment surface thickness for best holding power.
• Always test load safely before leaving valuable or heavy items suspended.

What materials and finish protect the hook from wear or rust?

The magnet assembly is plated with a three-layer Ni+Cu+Ni finish, giving the base both a shiny appearance and improved resistance to corrosion. The metal swing hook is robustly attached to the magnet housing and the coating helps reduce chipping and surface wear in common indoor and light outdoor conditions.

• Neodymium magnet core for strong magnetic attraction.
• Triple-layer Ni+Cu+Ni plating for corrosion resistance and shine.
• Sturdy swivel hook for angled or rotating loads.
• Durable construction suitable for tools, garments, and gear.

Where can I use these magnetic hooks around my home or on a boat?

These hooks are versatile: they attach instantly to any ferrous metal surface, so use them on refrigerator doors, metal toolboxes, steel shelving, garage walls, bunk frames, and shipboard handrails. The removable design makes them ideal for renters or temporary setups where drilling is not allowed.

• Entryways: keys, umbrellas, hats, light bags.
• Kitchens and fridges: utensils, towels, scissors.
• Workshops: hand tools, measuring tapes, small power-tool accessories.
• Boats & RVs: lifejacket straps, ropes, small gear (mind motion and load limits).

How do I install and maintain these magnetic hooks for long life?

No tools are required—simply press the magnet flat against a clean metal surface and let the magnet adhere. Keep the contact surface clean, avoid sharp impacts, and periodically check the coating and swivel for chips or corrosion to maintain performance.

• Install: press hook onto clean, flat metal; avoid painted or thin metal for maximum hold.
• Maintenance: wipe contacts and hooks dry; avoid salt spray exposure when possible.
• Safety: do not let magnets pinch; keep away from electronics and pacemakers.
• Storage: store separately to prevent magnets clumping or chipping.

Who is this for: DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks suit homeowners, renters, boat and RV owners, hobbyists, and tradespeople who need a reliable, removable hanging solution without drilling. If you want powerful, repositionable hooks for organizing tools, kitchen items, outerwear, and small gear on ferrous surfaces, this eight-pack gives multiple mounting points with robust protective plating and a convenient swivel design.
