DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks 15-Pack Black — Heavy-Duty Neodymium Hooks 70 lb Vertical, Stainless Carabiners

DIYMAG Magnetic Hooks 15-pack are heavy-duty black neodymium hooks that attach to steel surfaces and hold up to 70 lbs vertically for secure, removable storage.

If you need a fast, tool-free way to add hanging storage anywhere there’s a ferrous metal surface, these magnetic carabiner hooks give a simple, strong solution. Each hook uses a high-grade neodymium magnet with a corrosion-resistant Ni+Cu+Ni plating and a stainless-steel carabiner for long-lasting outdoor or indoor use. The set includes 15 identical hooks so you can outfit a garage, workshop, kitchen, locker, or even a boat cabin without drilling or permanent hardware.

How strong are these hooks and what weight can they reliably support?

Each magnet hook is rated for up to 70 lbs when the load is applied vertically (direct pull off the magnetic face). Horizontal or shear loads reduce capacity to about 25 lbs, so placement and orientation matter.

• Vertical pull rating: up to 70 lbs per hook on clean flat steel.
• Horizontal/shear rating: around 25 lbs per hook.
• Actual capacity depends on surface thickness, paint, and placement.
• Best on thick, flat ferrous metal like steel beams, refrigerators, or tool chests.

Will these magnetic hooks resist rust and hold up outside?

The magnets are triple-plated (Ni+Cu+Ni) and the carabiner is stainless steel, improving corrosion resistance for outdoor exposure. Although plated for protection, prolonged contact with salt water or severe weather will still eventually wear finishes, so periodic inspection is recommended.

• Ni+Cu+Ni plating helps prevent corrosion and pitting.
• Stainless-steel carabiner reduces rust on the connection point.
• Not intended for continuous saltwater immersion without extra care.
• Wipe dry after wet conditions to prolong life.

Where can I use these hooks and how easy are they to move?

These magnetic hooks are designed for quick installation and repositioning without tools, making them ideal for temporary or changing layouts. They work on many ferromagnetic surfaces around the home and workplace and are convenient for seasonal or workshop tasks.

• Common uses: garage, tool room, warehouse, kitchen, grill area, locker, refrigerator, cruise cabin.
• Snap on and remove by hand — no screws or holes required.
• Great for hanging tools, cords, pots, towels, lanterns, or decorations.
• Set of 15 lets you distribute loads and create organized zones.

How do I maximize safety and performance when using these magnets?

Place each hook on clean, flat, ferrous metal and avoid edges or welded seams that reduce magnetic contact. For heavy or valuable items, use multiple hooks or back them up with secondary fasteners where possible.

• Mount on thick, flat steel for full rated strength.
• Clean paint, oil, or debris from the mounting surface before installing.
• Avoid mounting near electronic devices or credit cards sensitive to magnets.
• Use multiple hooks for uneven loads or increased safety margin.

Who is this for: DIYMAG’s 15-pack magnetic hooks are ideal for homeowners, tradespeople, and renters who want a non-permanent, heavy-duty hanging solution. They suit anyone needing flexible storage—garage organizers, kitchen chefs, boat owners, event crews, and facility managers—who value strong, removable hooks that remain reusable and portable.
