Displate Magnetic Wall Mount Kit 3-Pack — Peel-&-Stick No-Drill Hanging for Metal Posters

A three-piece magnetic mounting kit from Displate that lets you hang and swap lightweight metal or magnetic art without drilling or visible hardware.

This kit contains three complete sets of adhesive leaves and matching peel-&-stick magnets sized for lightweight artwork (about 1 lb). Designed to pair with Displate metal posters but compatible with any thin metal-backed or magnetic print, the system holds art securely while allowing instant removal and repositioning. The adhesive leaf bonds to smooth painted walls and is engineered to peel away cleanly when removed, making it an appealing choice when you want to avoid nails, holes, or anchors.

How does the magnetic mounting work?

Each mount uses two pieces: a removable adhesive leaf that sticks to the wall and a separate magnet that attaches to the leaf. The artwork connects to the magnet on the wall surface, creating a firm magnetic hold that you can detach by hand whenever you want to swap pieces. This separation of adhesive and magnet keeps the visible profile minimal while offering an easy on/off experience.

• Peel-and-stick adhesive leaf attaches to smooth, flat-painted walls.
• Separate peel-&-stick magnet applies to the leaf for the magnetic interface.
• Artwork mounts magnetically—no screws or visible brackets.

Will this damage my walls or paint?

The adhesive leaf is formulated to come off without pulling paint when used on recommended surfaces like matte or eggshell painted drywall. Removing the leaf follows a clean-peel process; however, performance varies by paint type, wall texture, and surface condition. For glossy, freshly painted, porous, or heavily textured walls, test a small area first or use additional magnets for extra stability.

• Best for smooth, matte or eggshell painted walls.
• May require extra magnets on textured or porous surfaces.
• Leaves are designed to peel off cleanly when removed correctly.

How much weight will each magnet support and what fits best?

Each set is sized for lightweight items—roughly up to one pound per magnet under ideal conditions—so they excel with metal posters, thin framed prints, and similar slim wall art. For heavier pieces or uneven surfaces, you can use multiple kits to distribute weight or choose a different hanging solution. The kit is optimized for metal-backed art but works equally well with magnetic surfaces or prints that contain a thin metal plate.

• Rated for lightweight metal posters and thin magnetic prints (~1 lb per mount).
• Combine multiple mounts for larger or heavier items.
• Works with Displate metal posters and other thin metal-backed art.

How easy is it to reposition or swap pieces?

Swapping artwork is fast because the magnet remains on the leaf while the art detaches instantly from the magnetic face. To move the mount, peel the leaf away and apply a new leaf in the desired location—no tools required. Replacement leaves are straightforward to apply, making seasonal rearranging or gallery-style layouts simple to execute.

• Magnetic connection allows instant removal and replacement of art.
• Leaves peel off to reposition the mount without tools or hardware.
• Includes three complete leaf+magnet sets for quick multi-piece setups.

Who is this for? If you want a low-profile, damage-conscious way to display metal posters, prints with metal backing, or lightweight magnetic art—especially in rented spaces or on freshly painted walls—this Displate 3-pack offers a quick, tool-free solution. It’s ideal for people who rotate wall art frequently, curate small gallery walls, or simply prefer a clean aesthetic without nails or visible fixtures. For heavier or textured-surface installations, consider using additional kits or alternative hanging methods.
