Diamond Naturals Large Breed Adult Lamb Meal & Rice is a 40 lb dry dog food formulated with pasture-raised lamb as the first ingredient, balanced protein and fat for large-breed needs, and added glucosamine, chondroitin, and omega fatty acids to support joints, skin, and coat.

This formula is tailored for adult large-breed dogs that require controlled nutrient levels to maintain healthy body condition and sustained energy. Real lamb meal provides concentrated protein while rice offers digestible carbohydrates; the recipe also incorporates superfood-sourced vitamins and a K9-specific probiotic blend to support digestion and overall wellness. Made by the family-owned Diamond Naturals in the USA with trusted domestic and global ingredients, this bag is designed to meet the unique metabolic and structural demands of larger dogs.

How does this food address the energy and weight needs of large-breed adults?

The recipe balances protein and fat to provide steady energy without encouraging excess weight gain common in large breeds. Controlled nutrient densities support a healthy body condition so dogs can stay active without overeating.

• Real pasture-raised lamb meal is the primary protein source for muscle maintenance.
• Moderate fat levels supply sustainable energy for daily activity.
• Rice offers easily digestible carbohydrates for consistent fuel.
• Formulation sized for large-breed metabolisms to help prevent weight-related stress.

What joint or mobility benefits are included in the formula?

Diamond Naturals adds glucosamine and chondroitin to support cartilage and joint comfort commonly needed by large breeds. These ingredients are included alongside the core nutrition so joint support is integrated into everyday feeding rather than requiring separate supplements.

• Glucosamine supports cartilage structure and joint function.
• Chondroitin works with glucosamine to help maintain joint cushioning.
• Combined with balanced nutrients to reduce stress on joints from excess body weight.

How does this food support digestion and immune health?

Each serving contains a proprietary K9 strain probiotic blend plus prebiotics and antioxidants to promote healthy digestion and bolster immune response. These elements help optimize nutrient absorption and microbial balance in the gut, which is important for overall wellness.

• K9 strain proprietary probiotics tailored for dogs’ digestive systems.
• Prebiotics help feed beneficial gut bacteria for stable digestion.
• Antioxidants from superfoods like blueberries support cellular health.

What does the ingredient list look like and where is it made?

The first ingredient is real pasture-raised lamb protein concentrated as lamb meal, followed by rice and other grains, superfood fruits and vegetables, and added fatty acids. The product is family-owned and manufactured in the USA using a mix of domestic and global ingredients, emphasizing consistent quality controls.

• Top ingredient: pasture-raised lamb meal for concentrated protein.
